Exactly. You could conceivably stick with low end and still have better looking games than console games.I actually think the graphical gap between PC's and Consoles will widen this gen now that the ps3 and 360 have moved into PC resolutions. That is if PC developers get their fingers out and make use of of all this power available to them.
