@Saketume Exactly! I was once a big gamer that dropped a decent amount of money on games (always new as I hate torn-up and rough copies). Now I wait and see if a "complete" edition is delivered with all content on the disc. If not, I'll go to the used bargain-bin.
Since I am an offline gamer, often times even if the DLC is "free" to new purchasers, I still cannot obtain the content. Therefore I get screwed out of a component of the game I payed full price for.
Put out "complete" editions, and I will go out of my way to purchase a new copy; I'll even hold onto it for my collection. Otherwise, I'll just pick up a cheap used copy of the fragmented games flooding the market now.
@maxrang I'm honestly asking here (not being a smartass), does AC have awesome customization? Will it have ship combat?
I haven't touched AC because of its notoriety with Disc Locked Content or other such abuses. Plus Bethesda at least gives us "Complete Editions" when they are finished with the game. Ubi sort of told all gamers in the States to go F themselves when they made that a UK exclusive.
The big deal, Ass, is that there are still plenty of people without reliable internet. Not everyone has access or can affort it while living on a budget. I will however "deal with it", I will let you shove your 720 clearly up your arse while I move over to the competition or continue to enjoy my older systems and wonderful library of games.
