I've been defending the PS3 for a while but now I'm starting to loose my patience. I mean the concel I swore I would never buy again (the 360) I've been actually getting some decent play out of. When square and sega both expressed their concerns with the ps3 and its sales I still tried to stand firm but after a press confereince that basically said they have to start helping devs (who are professionals at making games) and that they are not worried about the present because the system is "future proof." Theres not much they can do about the PS3 this year. Be happy they are only expressing concerns about "sales" and nothing about the hardware/software. I don't see whats wrong with them helping developers get more out the hardware, there is only good in that statement. they said at TGS they are working more closely with developers, and they are looking into more studios to purchase as first party developers.

they have a great lineup for 2008. Not just great games, but a new online service which will give something different than XBL, but new peripherals as well. I am not worried at all.

Whatever you do don't sell it. You will be throwing away money. It's easy to just look at the cons and make decisions, but you need to look at the whole spectrum. If SW is getting you worried then that seems more like a personal problem.

Have you played Warhawk yet? Its the most fun multiplayer experience i've ever had. Every single person whos plays it at my house has a blast.

Look at Half Life.. They didn't even want to develop for the thing.. Instead they gave it to EA.. The Fast Food company of gaming to port it to the PS3..

Now watch the rumor of FF13 and MGS4 going to the 360 come to fruition.. GTA4 having exclusive DL content and Rockstar claiming the defintive version of GTA4 will be on the 360..

oh my god fanboy alert. do you still believe MGS4 will not be exclusive after all the times they said it is! stop dreaming!!!!!!!!!! I think the ps3 is the best console. it is the most advanced and so can produce better graphics and better games, the REAL exclusives are on the ps3 and the console does not always break down! why are people worried about the console warhaw just came ou and beats halo online hands down, mgs4, killzone 2, GT5, F1 ( you cant get ANY f1 games on the 360) heavenly sword, drakes fortune and god of war are just a taste of the great games availabe/coming out on the ps3 and I think it beats the 360's lineup. people who only have a 360 will miss out big time as developers get the hang of the ps3's hardware and every gamelooks better on the ps3. once these games come out on the ps3 and the price is dropped, it will only get better and better. things are already starting to turn around with halo outta the way.

With all the support the 360 is getting and games going Multiplatform. Why would anyone want to buy a console that has 1/2 the games.. No exclusives and not a single AAA title in it's library? Clear enough for you?

As much as I disagree with the TC there is one area in terms of multiplats that i could see being affected by MS (somewhat indirectly) and that is EA Sports, Peter Moore is at the helm now - so if these titles keep underperforming vs the 360 versions there would definitely be some room for a conspiracy theory there.

For one, I'm not biased AT ALL. At least not against the PS3.

I hate the Wii. Well to be more specific I hate the GameCube....the motion controls are fine.

I think the X360 is afaulty POS (my broken 360 will NEVER be repaired...I will not pay $100 as CS wants me to), although it has great games.

PS3 is the only thing I play...of coursethat isby default with the top 2 being as they are.

Of course my playtime is ruined when they make me throw a sword at a gong and use this flipping stupid control scheme to control it. Then you use a catapult with the same wacky controls. Then you use a crossbow AND OH MY GOD if that was not the most frustrating missing nearly all of the people. yes either I have lost all skill at playing video games or maybe....just maybe this stupid game was not well designed when using these stupid controls. I like casual games and I like difficult games but all motion controls for the PS3 appear to be forced...like they don't belong.

NGS, for as hard as everyone thinks this game is, I actually thought it was wonderful so yes I like difficult games. HSword is terrific....that is until they make me play with an imaginary steering wheel that's has the reflexes of a turtle. I don't care how good you all get at doing those moves, to me the controls were forced just like Lair. Honestly I don't think they are ever going to find a proper use for the motion controls.
