The director of Jack@$$ 3D said his goal was to film the stupidest things possible and post them in 3D. Unfortunately he failed to do so because M. Night Shyamalan wouldn't allow him to re-release The Last Airbender. This is Sunday Ramblings!
Hey guys, I hope you enjoy my new idea of doing intros, I thought my old ones were getting a bit repetitive. From my end it's the same thing all over again this week, being worked and all. I do have some gaming new though, and I guess this is what Gamespot is meant for anyway. I have obtained another two games earlier tonight, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Sonic Colors.
I've been anticipating Donkey Kong Country Returns since its unveiling at E3 this year and I bet anyone else who's been demanding it for the last 4 years has been wanting this to exist as well. I've played through the first world so far and it's just like the Donkey Kong Country games from the SNES and Retro Studios pulled off the nostalgic feel in the same way New Super Mario Bros. Wii manages to do so with the old Mario 2D platformers and obviously this game does the same thing. I was definitely interested to see how Donkey Kong Country Returns would turn out considering that this is Retro Studios' first non-FPS game, so far as far as I can tell, they are doing it well. Would have been nice to have a Clas sic Controller option to get that same feeling as if I were playing the older DKCs, but can't get everything, the motion controls and overall scheme works as well enoguh as it does.
And yes I have Sonic Colors as well, I pretty much just waited until I could get enough money and waited until Returns came out so I could get both at the same time, just a cool feeling to do. Another fun game, I've been enjoying it. Of course the fact that I'm the same person who's been able to play a game like Sonic '06 and enjoy it, I don't know if anyone will really take my consideration of it too seriously. Pretty much like the day time stages in Sonic Unleashed and it has some pretty nice levels as well, for some reason though the first boss was quite easy, biggest challenge for me is the red medals and I don't really remember what they're called. Those are just some of my thoughts on the newest Wii games I got.
One of the steps taken in Sonic Colors that I really like is that the voice acting has been 95% revamped (the other 5%, Mike Pollock is still there). One thing you'll find a bit consistent with the line of voice actors I managed to find is the fact that a good number of the voice actors are veterans from the English dubbings of Bleach, Code Geass, or a combination of the two. Funny thing is I remember reading about two years ago there was a rumor that Johnny Young Bosch was supposed to be the new voice of Sonic, but that obviously hasn't happened. To me Sean Schemmel will always be the ideal VA for Sonic, but Roger Craig Smith has proven to be a good choice for the role overall. Not to mention the rest of the voice acting is actuallya few levels above decent as well, so I can hope that maybe the hatchet can once and for all be buried on this issue that has been plaguing the Sonic fandom for the past 5 years.
Of course it probably won't end there, as now it's just a matter of whether or not the folks at Sonic Team will continue the line of games on the same level as Colors. This year, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 came out with pretty good reviews overall, All-Stars Racing probably doesn't 100% count, but it still managed to get its fair share of praise, so far the only game that hasn't received the highest acclaim in the world is Sonic Free Riders which is pretty much going the way of Farcry Vengeance. Now Sonic Colors is out and it's actually managing to get reviews in the 80s. If the series can keep up at this rate maybe the drama that has been irritating gamers everywhere, be they fans or non-fans, can finally end. A little less internet drama never hurt too many people
I obviously don't have much else to talk about considering that these two games are what I have had the most to give my say on. Obviously Thanksgiving is in a few days, it will soon be time for that annual binge craze that we have been practicing since the first sacrifice of the Turkey. Hope I'll have more to talk about latter on as we move to passing yet another year by. For some reason it seems like the older you get the faster time flies by.

Sunday Ramblings: The Final Stretch, Look! Up in the Sky!
by Myviewing on Comments
Hey guys, not much is going on on my end. It's been the same old routine and I have had a few new things happen over the week.
I've picked up the collector's edition of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow a few days ago. I'm not the hugest Castlevania fan obviously because I haven't played every game in the series although I have enjoyed a number of them including Castlevania 64 and Lament of Innocence. It basically takes a lot of stuff from Devil May Cry just like almost every other hack and slash series that followed and I'm almost done with the second chapter, I just haven't been able to play that much due to real life. I also had a chance to play GoldenEye's multiplayer and it is quite fun just like the previous Call of Duty games. Forewarning for anybody who's interested in the Clas sic Mode though, don't bother as of yet. It litterally took me about 15 minutes to find a match. I definatley can't wait for the rest of this month to play out seeing Sonic Colors and Donkey Kong Country Returns come out in just a matter of days now, and most of all GOLDEN SUN: DARK DAWN FOR NOVEMBER 29!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also saw Skyline yesterday. Yeah this movie has definatley been getting some crap reviews as of late, and truth be told I can pretty much understand why. Basically the story is that a couple is traveling to Los Angeles for their friends birthday and they party to their heart's content. Then early the next morning, blue lights pop out of the sky and are abducting people by the masses and now Jarrod, Elaine, Candice, and Terry are among the few remaining survivors who find out that aliens have come to abduct humanity from its home planet for who knows what reason? There is actually a reason why, but A) I don't feel like spoiling it and B) the reason will probably make people laugh their ends off. Of course by now you might be wondering, "Hm, where did I see this before?" If you're thinking Cloverfield, congratulations you have solved one piece of what this film basically is. Unfortunately I can't really say that it's because it does something new with the formula or adds somesort of depth to everything but also because this film is a mish-mash of several other worksof sci-fi in recent years. If youwant the spoiler free version of what to expect of this film, imagine Cloverfield as the base, then mash Independence Day and War of the Worlds together on top of it, then add a little District 9 on top (the ending at least), now you're watchingSkyline.Truth be told I didn't exactly have very huge hopes for this film anyway being a product of the Brothers Strausse, the same guys who brought us Alien Vs. Predator Requiem. It's not all down hill though, for a film done on $10 million, this looks really good, I hope the director of Dragonball Reborn is taking note of this, and the alien designs are actually pretty cool. Unfortunatley that's about it in terms of pros, I was hoping for it to be more grand scale in the same vein of Independence Day or Transformers, but there's really only a handful of action sequences that mostly focus on the human characters running and occasionally getting the upper hand against the enemy. None of the performances really stand out either and at the same time they aren't really terrible, same with the music and the same with almost anything else. I'm not going to really defend this movie, but at the same time it's not exactly a terrible film. It's not The Last Airbender, I'll give it that much since the acting is actually bearable and the story never really does claim to be anything more than what it is despite the ending. Overall this isn't a bad film, nor is it really a good film, it simply is. Once you've seen it, that's pretty much it and if you've missed it, you didn't miss much. Overall the definition of a "rent out of curiousity" sort of film. I don't know if this sort of film will be able to warrant the sequel that was supposed to be rumored before release, mostly with the ending anyway, but maybe they'll have something to add if that does happen.
I think it's possible that this film will end up breaking even in some way even though it will probably get lost in the craze that will happen once Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1 comes out next week. I know I'm anticipating it. If you really want a better sci-fi fix though, I'd reccomend renting Predators instead although that's just me.
Hope you're all enjoying this week, I do hope things begin to pick up towards the ending.

I Just Have to Do a Shoutout XD
by Myviewing on Comments
So anybody who's been following the film world as of late probably knows of Christopher Nolan producing a Superman reboot film. His director of choice, Zack Snyder as you might have heard. I'm personally anticipating the film as much as the next Superman fan, but I was just searching around latter this night and I came across probably the most hilarious reaction video to a movie announcement ever.

THE POWER OF CHRISTOPHER REEVE COMPELS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111!q234@#$#!!!@!@@@
I just had to do that XD. Pretty pointless shoutout of a blog, but definately check it out if you're up for a good laugh.

Sunday Ramblings: Two New Games
by Myviewing on Comments
'Sup people, it's me again. I don't really have much to say this time because well I didn't really do much this week. It's mostly all been work and occasional school. I say occasional because I'm pretty much working even more than I am in school at this point, but at least I get paid, so I never do end up complaining. Here in the states it is also Daylight Savings Time or something like that, so now we get to turn our clocks back an hour. Now morning actually feels like morning and night actually feels like night. I don't know why we still have this system today, but at least I can get some needed rest at last. I did get two new games this week actually, Kirby's Epic Yarn and the GoldenEye remake.
I've played Epic Yarn for a fair amount of time, a very good game. Nice to see that we finally got the Kirby console game we've been waiting for. I don't remember if Air Ride or whatever it was called had very fair reception at the time, it's been forever since I played it at my friend's place as well. I think it would be interesting to see a 3D Kirby game, but ah well, the 2D formula isn't broken so there's no need to fix it. I also like the fact that the art styl e isn't a complete gimmick, it actually does affect the gameplay and it shows how it can change a done before formula well enough. There's never been a Kirby game known for its negative reception from what I recall, pretty much because not that many Kirby games are totally different from one another, well then again I haven't really played that many Kirby games anyway. Pretty nice the folks at HAL Laboratory and Good Feel were able to produce something this nice. I am a bit more anticipant of Donkey Kong Country Returns, but two good 2D platformers is always better than one. If the recpetion hasn't convinced you enough, Epic Yarn is veryeasily reccomendable for your next purchase.
I've also been very anticipant of the GoldenEye remake because of my fond memories of the original way back when I was younger. You see before there was Call of Duty, before Halo, even before... well it actually did come after Doom so not that far back, if anyone wanted to play multiplayer on a first person shooter on a console, you bought a Nintendo 64, a copy of GoldenEye or ideally both. Then the magic of four people playing a shooter at the same time in the same room would settle in seemlessly. It's definatley nice to have the remake finally happen although I haven't played it that much yet. It's sort of like the Call of Duty games on the Wii although it was developed by Eurocom, the same people who made quite a number of liscenced games in the past, I can also assure that anyone who has played Beijing 2008 should not fear going into this game as those days of that crappy game have finally swooped passed them, or at least I forgive them for it. I'll admit I never did beat the single player campaign, but the levels are as faithful to the original as far as I can remember, and the multiplayer probably will be as good as I remember it. I also got a Best Buy version that comes with a GoldenClas sic Controller Pro, a nice contrast to my Monster Hunter Tri Black one I have to say. I also got the codes to the Tag Multiplayer mode and Clas sic modee which I think are supposed to be unlockable come December 31 or somewhere around that time. It's my time to brag and I'm a very happy camper overall.
Don't know if I'll have anything exceptional to talk about later on, I hope I'll have something to add in the comment section if anyone asks.

Sunday Ramblings: Um... Boo.
by Myviewing on Comments
IT'S HALLOWEEN PEOPLE!!!!
Or whatever you might call it in your respective area, it's that time of day for many. I don't really have much to talk about I'll admit, since not much has happened this week for me. I did get a chance to watch Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear yesterday. Excellent event I have to say, I have been a fan of both shows for a while and I was really anticipating where this event was going to go. Of course by the end of the speech, it truly was something that I think really speaks to Americans who have been dealing with this sort of fear that has been plauging humanity for the longest time. It was an excellent speech, and I believe Youtube user psychicwhoosh said it best when he said this, "This is the kind of speech you want to see quoted in future history books. And these beautiful words were not given by a world leader, president, or congressman. They were given by a stand-up comedian who has a comedy show on TV. We are at a strange time in the kingdom, when the wisest, sanest, most rational voice of them all is that of the court jester." If anybody wants to see the rally, I'll post the link to Comedy Central down below.
http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/rally_to_restore_sanity_and_or_fear/index.jhtml
It's kind of unfortunate this sort of rally won't exactly change things over night or make everybody wake up and realize what they're sitting through. But at least there is someone who is able to sum up everything that's wrong with our current state of fear this day in age. Of course you might also ask, what does this have to do with Halloween? Well it took place yesterday obviously and I felt like talking about it. I do hope that one day down in later history someone will look back on this and see this as some sort of wake up call for the fear we've beenforced upon as of late.
That's pretty much the most eventful thing I have this day, but I actually do have some Halloween related plans for tonight. My folks will be handing out treats for unfortunate trick or treaters :P.
Also I decided to do this Sunday Ramblings a littler earlier in the day than I usually do because I'd like to give a shout out on a movie that everybody should check out for Halloween night. One by the title of Trick 'r Treat.
You might ask what sort of film it is, it is an independent film released back in 2008 done by Michael Dougherty the co-scripter of X2 and Superman Returns. This is an anthology film that takes the same approach to a horror story in the same vein as Creepshow or Tales from the Crypt and interweaves four stories into a single film. It might not sound like much of an actual story, but it actually does work out really well towards the end and it manages to stir up some of the best shocker scenes and cinematography made in an independent film that I've seen to date at least. It is rated R for a reason, but anyone who is used to the sort of horror anthology Trick 'R Treat is will be able to sit through it easy. Not so much of a review, just a shout out really, so if you haven't seen this film and you plan on stopping by blockbuster or using Netflix anytime soon, check out Trick 'R Treat for a film that truly captures the Halloween spirit tonight.
Of course I have other filmsup for viewing tonight, namely ones like The Nightmare Before Christmas and John Carpenter's Halloween. If you haven't seen NBC when you were younger, then you obviously have a very large hole in your chest that provides some sort of empty feeling since you were that age and my reccomendation is seeing this film ASAP. It's been a childhood favorite of mine since I was in Kindergarten and it never gets old.
So until then, I probably might have more to say in the comments, but be sure to keep those witches out of the balconies and have a Happy Halloween or Day of the Dead or any other holiday you see fit.

Sunday Ramblings: Sonic 4 and Paint the Town Red
by Myviewing on Comments
Hey people, it's Sunday once again. You know that I have this weekly commitment down at this point.
I don't have much new to talk about, though I have been able to download Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 on WiiWare. Very much enjoying the game and I'm almost completed. I would be finished by now, but I have been taking the time to beat the special stages in order to get all of the chaos emeralds. In fact it even got to the point where when I was playing the second level of Casino Street Zone to get to the fourht special stage, I ended up having to replay the level so many times that by the time I finally did, I ended upgetting literally 210 lives. In general the game is pretty easy but some of the special stages have been exceptionally tough, I am finally up to the final special stage and it's not really that hard, it's just the fact that I haven't been able to accumulate enough time in order to get the 99 rings needed to open the gates to the emerald. Hopefully I'll be able to get past that part some other time, I might review the game as well once I review it, we'll see.
Out of a pinch of luck, I have just seen Red today. If you're curious what the title means, it's an acronym that stands for "retired, extremely dangerious". That is basically what the films title live up to since it's about said characters. The film is based on a retired black-ops CIA agent Frank Moses who has been feeling lonely in his retirement days and has begun talking to a customer service agent from his pension office in Kansas City. This life of his is interrupted once a hit squad overruns his house and turns it into literal Swiss cheese. After that, Frank goes to Kansas City to protect Sarah knowing that she would be tracked by the same assassins. Because of this, she becomes Frank's reluctant companion while he tries to find out who is trying to kill him, and resorts to tracking down his old black-ops friends in order to find out why they are now wanted fugitives. I don't want to give away any spoilers, that's pretty much the basic premise of the story. In terms of action, Red definatley is a huge action film since it does at times manage to go a bit over the top at points and even the main story manages to become muddled at a few points when the action takes place but it all manages to wrap up easily enough towards the ending. It's not exactly a perfect action movie, but the action sequences are compelling and the cast of Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich andHelen Mirren being as good as it is, it makes for an enjoyable time at the theaters.
That's my end, managing to get another movie in and possibly might be able to get a bit more gaming in. That's the need for compromising with college work after all.

Sunday Ramblings: Spryo's Kingdom, Maybe Future Reviews, Current Situation
by Myviewing on Comments
Hey people, you know what time it is again. That's right, it's Sunday where nothing special at all happens.
I've got some good new for people who have been following this series to this day, info on a new Spyro game has been leaked a few days ago. Unfortunately I can't say that much else since there isn't a whole lot of info on it right now other than it's supposed test title "Spyro's Kingdom". I can also say that a voice actor named Tom Bromhead is also supposed to be involved, I haven't seen any of his previous work and I can't say what his role will be. I heard he's a comedic type of guy is the most, so if he voices Spyro it might mean a return to the kid friendlyatmosphere the old games had, though there is also the chance that he may be the new voice of Sparx or some other random character really.
So far the game has been confirmed for the Wii and the DS and I'm pretty sure that future console releases are possible for the PS3 and X360, maybe the PS2, not too sure about the PSP since there hasn't really been any releases on the handheld and not that many games have been selling that well lately. There hasn't been any info on the gameplay itself either and I'm pretty sure that deciding it off of the test title won't do much. When I first heard the title for Sonic Colors I got the idea of it being an MS Paint clone something like from Jumpstart Third Grade. Anyone who's played it should know what I mean... If not, thanks for making me feel so much older :P. (Hey, Sonic recolor artists have to get their start somewhere right?) And when Iget the idea for Spyro's Kingdom in my head, I get the idea of it being some sort of Sim City mod with Spyro characters or something like that.
Might have talked about the game more than I should have and may have needed to, but I just felt like saying that for the 2 or3 people who care besides me.I knew there was a newSpyro game on the way since thenew heads of the franchise said that they had only scratched the surface of the new Spyro universe. And the funny thing is that this is actually the first time in a long time there hasn't been a Spyro game since the last time a Spyro game wasn't released, it was back in 1999 and nowwe've had two without a new Spyro game.
If anybody is curious about otheraspects in gaming, I not only haven't been able to play that much as of late, but I haven't been able to buy that much aseithersince I have run into a financial situation that reallydoesn't allow for me to buy as much as I've grown accustomed to. Not very forunate since I would like topick up some ofthe new releases like Kirby's EpicYarn, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and Sonic the Hedgehog 4. I know Gamespot gaveSonic 4 a6.5, but it was reviewed by Carolyn Petit and Ido not find myself agreeing with her reviews a good 4/5 times. Besides, I actually enjoyed some prior games that got ranked lower, but I don't really want to end up under rant territory tonight. Stinks for me to be poor for the first time in a long time, but I'll be out of that situation one day is the best thing about that.
Speaking of reviews, I also hope that pretty soon I'll be able to do another set of reviews to kind of make up for all of the lack of them over the past few months, I just had a ton of gaming time over those past few moths.A fewI hope to get around to reviewing are Pearl Harbor Trilogy: Red Sun Rising, Mass Effect 2, Dante's Inferno and Super Mario Galaxy 2. I have a few others in which my reivew of may or may not cause a bit of controversy across this page, but that's one advantage of not being all to well known by Gamespot standards. Worst I ever got though is thumb downs on my reviews, it's only too bad the review system doesn't allow for comments on reviews since I probably could use it to make some improvements I might be overlooking.
College wise, I have found out what I was doing wrong in my ProgrammingClas sit turns out I was taking a Clas s that was higher than I was supposed to. There are some lower ranked Clas ses that are supposed to give me better ideas of the basics which was my biggest problem. So next semester I'll try and see if another Clas s is availble and then I can see if I can actually get a hand on how programming actually works. Other than that, College is my everyday life and work has thankfully not been as demanding as its been the past few weeks.
Boring stuff, but I hope you all had something to enjoy reading.

Sunday Ramblings: Activision "Cutscene Movie" Rant
by Myviewing on Comments
What's happening people? I don't really have much to talk about regarding my everyday life, but I do have a rant that I've been intending to get out there for a while. I figured even if it's not that well polished I should probably get it out there before it loses its relavancy. But if you feel like it, that's what I have for this Sunday.
I have something that I basically find to be quite a lousy move from Activision as of late. Usually I don't bother ranting on business decisions since most of them are just inconviances for the consumer but good for actual business, but this upcoming plan from Activision is one that just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
This news has been out for a while now, but here's the thing: Activision is planning in the next 5 years or so to release full fledged DVDs of cinematics from video games and calling them movies. On paper this doesn't sound like such a bad idea considering that this sort of thing would allow people to view cinematics for games they don't have the ability to play, but there are several things to take into consideration for what Activision has planned. First off, these DVDs are actually planned to be sold at $20 to $30 per disc if it plans to be released this way. I don't know if this is how it will work or if they'll release it in theaters for a limited time or go through digital distribution, whatever none of the above seem to be a plausible option for this kind of release to me. Why's that? Because doing so is way too high of a price point, that's why.
Now just consider this, within five years, there's probably going to be only a handful of people who wouldn't have bought Blizzard's newer games like Starcraft II or Diablo III, so what's the point of basically buying a compilation of cutscenes from a game that someone has already seen? It's basically a pointless move if they aren't released simeltaneously because then there most likely won't be anybody left who hasn't seen them.
Even if the argument were, "Well someone can just buy them to revisit the cutscenes." Even then it's a pretty faulty argument. Reason? Because Youtube exists. There's tons of video playlists on Youtube that are dedicated to showing the cutscenes from games, in fact there are actually some people who have not only done what Activision is planning to do, but also people who managed to put in their own artistic input. Just to name one example, there's a guy named SilverXy7 who has compiled various cutscenes from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and its DLC and made his own fan movie "Star Wars: Slave of the Sith", and Youtube doesn't charge anything for views does it? And if you just want the unadulterated cutscenes, again that brings us to the walkthroughs and cutscene compilations on said site. My guess is that Activision might go on a copyright rampage once these films are released so that way none of these playlists will be viewable anymore.
I can admit this though, if the folks at Activision were to do something to actually enhance this experience, say add more cutscenes to deepen the story of the game, prerender the in-game cutscenes, or even just so much as include interviews and explanations that no one had ever seen before on the game, then it would probably be a more understandable package and actually somewhat sellable. But if it's all just the cutscenes and the in game cutscenes aren't even prerendered, this is just a full demonstration of what Activision is trying to milk. These DVDs might cost next to nothing and they'll expect to see a bunch of people buy them, when it's just as easy to buy the game and get the game along with the same exact cutscenes.
Now they come along and do this, which is just weak for the consumer and a weak business move in itself. Probably the unfortunate thing about this is that there are still going to be people who will buy these DVDs. This is something that harkens back to my rant on the Saw series I did last year, the fact is that we as consumers are only able to speak with our wallets to companies. Whether or not people will actually buy these DVDs will remain to be seen, but I certainly hope that someone gets the idea that this is pretty much just a cash-in with no real purpose.
That's pretty much what I have to say on this matter, sorry if I dissapointed anyone by not making an outright rant on Activision itself, but I don't really have enough reason to do so right now. I'm still planning on buying some of their upcoming games, I just won't buy these DVDs. I just find it to be more sensical to upgrade my PC so it can run Starcraft II or Diablo III.
That's pretty much all I can think of at this point, feel free to ask any questions if I should answer anything.

Sunday Ramblings: Another Quick One
by Myviewing on Comments
Hey everyone, this is another really short one that I just pulled out for the sake of getting it out there. Basically I've been working on homework these past few days. Every now and then I've been playing some Front Mission Evolved and that's about it, I think I'm almost finished with the campaign mode. I managed to get it for free with all of the Bestbuy coupons that I've been accumulating for the past few months so that's a great deal for me at least, I'm enjoying the game overall so I'm happy. Mostly though I've been doing some homework and making som sad attempts at programming. Programming is one of my new courses this semester, and I have now come to understand how much I despise it.Java requires so much explaining to do so little of a process. I don't even think I'm going to try and get into this subject anymore when I'm done with it this semester. Luckily my other two classes are actually enjoyable and I have mroe interest in, and I've actually been able to get my homework done at a decent rate. I hope this semester ends faster than I can see it coming since I just can't stand working with this. I could go on further, but it's about time for me to go to bed so I can actually be ready for classes tommorrow.

Sunday Ramblings: Spyro Movie Status, Upcoming Rant, Kinect and Move
by Myviewing on Comments
For lack of an interesting introduction, here is my new edition of Sunday Ramblings! This time I actually managed to get my date right, hope I can keep that up.
If anybody is really that curious about what's been going on for me, well I found out some recent stuff in the gaming world a bit recently, a lot of it probably being old news. For one thing, there was a movie I was semi-anticipating, The Legend of Spyro 3D, well after all it's delays and rumors it has officially been cancelled. I'll admit that if anything it would have been cool to see Spyro animated onto the big screen, but given the "credentials" of the people put in charge for the movie, it was probably for the better it was cancelled. Who knows? Maybe somebody will try and pick it up one day, but at least it won't give Legend of Spyro fans like myself a bad name. That's all that's been said anyway, no use in lamenting over it I guess.
I also have a rant on Activision cutscene movies in the works at the moment, I just need to polish it up a bit and then it should be ready for publishing on my blogging system. Expect it sometime this week once I make the changes needed.
Well stay consistant with gaming stuff I just found out something, Move aparrently came out. By that of course, I mean Playstation Move, and it took me a while to realize that it actually came out... So did anybody feel a rumble of some kind? Because I couldn't sense anything really shaking upon release. No crying babies or crows were anywhere and they haven't been around, just a big nothing thsi time. I also just recently found an article on WatchMojo saying it sold 140k units in its early days. I guess that's what you get for releasing anything in the midst of Halo: Reach.
That's one thing I'm curious what Microsoft has regarding Kinect (anybody else still prefer Natal?). Kinect is supposed to be releasing around the same time as Call of Duty: Black Ops and Gran Turismo 5 (If it stays on this release date anyway). We all know that Black Ops is going to be a huge seller on both platforms regardless of what you think of Modern Warfare 2. So because of that, the product might end up suffering from the combined forces of those two. I'm guessing that neither company is really planning to make that much money off of either considering the release dates.
I obviously can't buy Move with lack of a Playstation 3, as far as Kinect thoughI am kind of interested andI may end up buying it at some point depending on the games coming out anyway. So far the games with any details out I'm interested in are Sonic Free Riders and Kinect Star Wars and whether or not those games will be any good is still up for questioning since they haven't been released or reviewed yet. There are some games like Rise of Nightmares and Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor that have interested me, but there's not much out on those yet either. So kind of lackluster start so far, but maybe it will pick up if both of these get some kind of sales boost this holiday.
Just random stuff to pull out for this week, time for the next two work days and focusing on homework.
That's the news from Myviewing as of September 26, 2010.
