Whatever PC you have now will be fine for early programming. If you have ~5 GB to spare, you'll more than enough space. (most of that is taken up by the IDE and compiler anyway) Personally, I really dislike Java. I could never wrap my head around it's syntax. I'm semi-fluent in C and C++ though. While C++ has more options than C does, I much prefer C, as I find it's syntax to be far less confusing than C++'s (which was actually one of the goals for C++, to make the syntax confusing to weed out the bad programmers from the good ones, which is stupid IMO. It's also why the Linux kernel is written almost entirely in C, because Linus Torvalds HATES C++) Personally, I recommend you start with C, and then move on to C++ once you have a good understanding of C.muffinduck01
syntax is the easiest thing to learn in programming

You are the single most over dramatic person on these fourms and you will not be missed.
Gabe seems more worried about the potential hit that Steam could take more than anything. I would be worried too if my product was going to be limited because of external factors.
I do think that Windows 8 is going to explode in Microsoft's face. It's an OS designed for a closed-platform tablet. How many PC tablets are there on the market right now? None. So why the hell build an OS that nobody can use right now?

Wow another condescending post by wasdie, what a great mod!
Sorry that you have these preconceived notions that mods cannot have opinions about other users nor speak their minds, yet you can make sarcastic comments about one with no consequences.
Double standards suck.
I post as if I never had the moderator badge. I just enforce the rules, and there is no rule saying I can't speak my mind.
You flamebait then lock threads that you flamebaited in.
[QUOTE="NailedGR"][QUOTE="mingmao3046"] This....I dont get why everyone is obsessed with marriage. SS benefits? so all this fuss over the possibility of a few thousand dollars? wtf? Also annoying how the gays are doing things like this chic-fil-a day. I think gays should be allowed to marry but dont shove your gayness in my facemingmao3046
The right to your spouse's estate when they die.
The right to make medical decisions for your spouse.
The right to make medical decisions for your spouses children.
The right to take custody of your spouses children in the event of their death/incarceration/hospitalization.
So basically just owning their house if they were to die (they could make a will and this would be covered). If your gay you'r not having kids. I still dont see the big deal with marriageNearly every gay person I know has kids. And, wills can more easily be challenged if you are not the persons spouse.
You also totally glossed over the fact that in the case of a medical emergency the spouse basically has all access pass and last say in what kind of treatment shall be administered, while someone's girlfriend or boyfriend is completely ignored.

Tell me, what can two couples do in a marriage that they cannot do unmarried? Nothing.

Mayors have closer ties to their constituents, I support any mayor that wants to speak on behalf of their city.
