If all you are going to do is get some ram and a gpu, just get a 7750, if you plan on upgrading your cpu within 6 months get a 560

I am betting that is your CPU fan, get a coolermaster hyper 212+, just installed one yesterday on a phenom 955 and it is whisper quiet.
