Get 2 680s or 2 7970s and then just use one video card for the games that have poor sli/crossfire performance.

There isn't a laptop that would be able to match your current PC in performance.

Keep that in mind when you want to be able to keep it a few years to play games. (hint: it won't work very well)

amd isnt about to write off am3 yet. sempron is coming the sargas architecture is getting a dual core variant. the sempron x2 190 and 180 clocked @ 2.5 and 2.4ghz respectively. and will sell for about $60-50 @ retail

a few years ago I bought an Athlon II 240 for 60 bucks and those are 2.8GHz. I only see these as being worth while if they are really low wattage or the smaller 32nm process.
