I understand when it comes to Sims and RTS's PC would outshine, but majority rule that the game genres I listed are the more exciting ones this gen.

CB4McGusto

Wow I guess everyone's definition of exciting has to be a FPS, TPS, RPG or JRPG. Let me stop playing Shogun 2 and Starcraft 2 now since you told me its not exciting compared to these other genres. I am going to start playing FF13 right now since it you classified it as exiciting and I dont know any better.

Thanks console peasant for opening my eyes

I see no problem with this, used games to the publishers are as bad as piracy, the publishers do not get a cut while all the profits go to gamestop, considering gamestop can buy these games for 30$ if not less and resell them for 55$ thats a huge profit. I would wager the amount of money lost through used game sales is greater than piracy on the pc.

World in Conflict

That game was awesome, I used to be part of the clan scene and boy was that fun. I would say some of the best memories in MP gaming for me.

I think BF3 will look like this with more players on consoles.

mitu123

Oh god I forgot how horrible it looked, even bf2 looked better and that came out 6 years ago.

everyone knows that 6 year old piece of hardware is less powerful than a modern one.

wirey87

Not console owners apparently who keep bringing up butt ugly games like MAG

DICE dev explains that you get what you pay for.

BodyElite

PC gamers don't pay for anything though...

Oh you mean how the PC version of BC2 outsold both consoles?

[QUOTE="gaming25"] Well then, they should take away some of the graphical capabilities. This game needs to have more than 24 players. Its too big of a game to have such a small amount of players. Gameplay>Graphics.gaming25

Then the consolers will complain about its inferior gfx, as another said they would probably have to remove the destructble fx to achieve this.

I doubt that many would complain about lower graphics, especially if it means more players.

Not everyone shares your view of more players>gfx

Some people just didnt want to play MAG from looking at the screens, there are PC players who would rather play Battlefield on small player servers with higher gfx settings. Its hilarious how consolites argue about how superior their games are too each other, saying stuff like uncharted 2 or killzone 3 cant run on the 360 because of its inferior hardware! But when PC with its vastly superior hardware has a special feature, they will deny and deny their consoles cannot run it.

lol. I feel assured. If KZ2 could do it, then I am sure that BF3 should have at least 30 players in it.

gaming25

When a PS3 exclusive does a map like Heavy Metal(bigger than any Killzone map) or big maps from BC2 in general, have destruction, terrain deformation, good looking graphics and other advanced graphical features and tech all at once let me know.

Not a single PS3 exclusive has that and never will. If they do, they will look like crap, which will defeat the purpose of good looking graphics, which is also what DICE is aiming for, there's only so much you can do with outdated hardware.

[QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"][QUOTE="Batang_X990"]battlefield 1942 supported 64 players and that required 10 yr old hardwares. i think this was a lame excuse >_>gaming25
There is a limit in how much they can scale. If they make it look like MAG, well then they can't sell it.

Mag had 250 players, all we are asking them for is at least 30.

For the last time MAG looked liek garbage, worse than some ps2 and xbox games I would say. It also did not feature destructable environments and phyx, please stop being so ignorant about your 6 year old hardware its reached the edge of its lifespan. Please name another multiplatform game that looks as good as BF3 or even BC2 that has large maps and 24 players. If you want a premium experience buy a PC simple as that.

normally i hate it when developers bash other games, but it was about time somebody openly challenged CODlawlessx

I really hope they thrash cod as I love bf and loath cod, however I am sure COD will sell another 30 million copies
