Thats not smart... the average person has zero interest in pc gaming...(real pc gaming not the regular stuff)

fueled-system

If we are going by what the average person wants there should be no other games but cod, wiisports and wifit

I wonder if dice is going to be surprised when their game has such a high piracy rate...

WilliamRLBaker

Oh like the way BC2 was pirated or the way it outsold both console versions? DICE has proved if you build it with the pc in mind people will buy it.

DD is the future, im sure the next wave of consoles will try to be as dd to as possible, publishers are tired of used game sales stealing thier profits; its worse than piracy to them, but if they say anything they will look like the bad guy.

[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]

ME had a proper story. ME had better characters that actually interacted with one another. ME had a more fleshed-out, and interesting universe. And by and large, ME was a better game. It might have had some rough edges, but at least it wasn't a full-on shooter like its successor.

dog_dirt

i thought ME1's gameplay was to bogged down by its pointless loot system which added NOTHING to the game. i do agree ME1 had better story though.

Well I could at least customize my team mates armor more with that pointless loot system than ME2, imo ME1 was far superior in every way except characters.

Whats the point of this thread, did anyone miss the boring combat of the old one? It wasnt strategic in anyway, just click your mouse whenever u see the arrow turn orange, hell half the time I didnt even need to take the extra effort to face the enemy as the game did that. Really this looks like a much better improvement.

[QUOTE="TowerWorld"][QUOTE="enterawesome"] You sir are wrong. The UNSC have SPARTANs for Christs sake. They saved the entire galaxy and defeated two opposing factions thrice their size, they are the most powerful thing ever. And the Flood would infect the Zerg and take over all life unless the Zerg activate the Halos or something. enterawesome
Spartans would be pretty useless in a fight, they would probably be one-shot by a single marine.the zerg would also beat the flood because they are NOT sentient unless you include overlords and kerrigan, both of which would be impossible to reach.

Well alright, you got me beat on the Zerg. But the Spartans? **** no. The SC marines have bulky armor, they're slow, and they don't have shields. Spartans are resourceful, agile, and they have extremely powerful weaponry. MAC cannons, Target Locators, and they're ridiculously powerful sniper rifles are unmatched. Also, ODSTs would literally rain hell on the Terrans.

Will you stop comparing spartans to terran marines, terran marines are the regular ground soldier of the Terrans. A more fair comparison is comparing a spartan to a ghost or spectre and I dont think a spartan has a chance.

[QUOTE="Nick3306"]The snipe ris overpowered in bc2 making it a crucial class. I agree that the medics dont heal since they have the overpowered m60.Ondoval

M60 and LMGs in general are pretty weak in BC2. Even when the game was release and the dps of the M60 was at his prime the kill numbers from Medic sodiers were far less than from assault, and the medics has the worse overall k/d ratio. I don't understand the surprise and awe that medics had on some people as "overpowered"; since I did unlock all the items and awards from medics I totally stop to play this ones.

This

Maybe the m60 was op at a time but that was fixed a long time ago, now days the medic class guns are the weakest.

Ah consolites dismissing rts games, can your games render huge terrain with thousands of soldiers fighting each other? If small scale but great gfx is all that matters on system wars there are plenty of benchmarks that just render the most awesome looking fuzzy cube.

[QUOTE="edinsftw"]

[QUOTE="Dynafrom"] That's provided you have a PCI-E slot, provided you have a moderate PSU (not some **** 300w dell), and provided you have a moderate CPU to prevent bottleneck. And what? I have the core, and I play halo reach on my gold account?

Dynafrom

1. If you dont have a pci-e slot your computer is at the very latest 8 years old and you should probably upgrade no matter what.

2. Even with a cpu bottleneck you are still going to have good performance.

3. With even a 350 watt psu you can run some of the lower end of the 6000 series from ati and still play games pretty well.

1. Not all generic PC's from a BB retailer is going to come with a PCIE, especially the $400 e-machines, or dell boxes most people buy. 2. Once you hit a game that is CPU intensive, kiss goodbye to your performance. 3. And no you can't. Most manufacturers when designing a mass-market PC choose a PSU that can solely operate the machine at its stock configuration. Have fun seeing your computer go up in a ball of smoke.

Well if these people spent 400$+minmum price of a 360 $200, they could have bought an awesome computer.
