While I actually always enjoy the content, it's depressing that I'm forced to watch these regardless because putting Jess in them is like putting a rabbit in front of a Greyhound. :(
That aside, I kind of agree with the EA guy about VR. On top of that, those things, no matter how hard they try, are always uncomfortable... If not immediately, then not too long after having them on.
@youre_a_sheep The flaw in this reasoning being that, with both Live and Plus, I originally paid the same amount, and got no games.
Put simply, where I previously paid for the cost of the games in addition to my subscription fee, I now only pay my subscription fee. The net cost to me is now reduced by the full retail cost of the games.
I'll admit, it still isn't free... It's just zero additional money out of pocket. That sounds like free, but it isn't... Because.
I like Ubisoft's indirect response to this. They stuck a female character in the game (proving the time/effort BS they were spouting previously to be a lie), but they stuck it in and broke it off by making it a non-playable character! LOL!
Watch the IGN comparison video, then come back and tell us all about how the Gamespot video is showing 60fps. We'll all be right here waiting for your report.
Gamespot needs to step up their video game. When the biggest differences between versions of a game are resolution and frame rate, and your video can't actually display either, it makes it sort of pointless.
The actual game play scenes (what few there were) did a fair job highlighting how much better the PS4 textures are.
All in all, as a primarily PC gamer, what this video really did was highlight just how impressive Naughty Dog's technical skills with the PS3 are. You wouldn't get that much out of decade old PC hardware, so kudos to them.
