[QUOTE="Second_Rook"]

[QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"] Eh, ok then... But thrash metal tends to be much faster paced then Maiden >_>Darth-Caedus

Gotcha, I use thrash to describe the likes of old Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeth. Probably somewhat inaccurate to lump Maiden in there, but I do cuz they seem to have been the strongest influence in the creative process that spawned that type of metal.

Side note: if you love Iron Maiden check out Rotting Christ, similar guitar work, black metalish vocals, very good band.

Now those three bands are thrash:P Ok then:P Already know them, absolutly fantastic band!:D

I agree with Rotting Christ approval!

I would sit and try to convert 20 miles to kilometres, because my country doesn't accept your imperial ways!

After that... I do not know. Perhaps have an ice cream sandwich?

I'm gonna butt right in (because it gives me a sick sense of accomplishment) and say:

Iron Maiden = New Wave Of British Heavy Metal.

They began before Thrash.

And remember kids, without nitpicking we would be overrun with scalp sucking parasites!

Municipal Waste,

Candlemass... pretty much all their stuff is great for zombie apocolypse.

Black Sabbath, maybe?

Ziltoid the Omniscient?

I know you specifically requested no Death Metal, but I find certain types of Metal to be theperfectsoundtrack for zombies.

[QUOTE="NaturalJoe"]

I'd say this one is almost too perfect.

Candlemass - The Hammer of Doom in my pants.

Great album.

NecroKvltMuffin

One of my favorites of the year :D

Defeated Sanity - Engorged with Humiliation

OMG guttural brutal death metal that doesn't suck.

Good sir, you forgot to say "in my pants" or "in bed"!

speaking of which:

God Dethroned - No Man's Land ...in bed!

Damn, this has been a good year for metal so far. And yet so many awesome albums to come!
