Cool, if she's not doing anything right now then it would be a good time for Square Enix to resurrect Legacy of Kain. With Amy Hennig writing the story, all the old fans should be back on board. It looked like the last time they started working on one they were going for more of an Assassin's Creed style of gameplay, and honestly that could be awesome if they make it more like Shadow of Mordor with random mutated vampires constantly emerging.
To be honest, this has a chance to not suck. It will be dumbed down, but if that was enough to ruin Elder Scrolls then we wouldn't have played any of the games past Morrowind. If the touch screen controls are awkward, you can compensate by over-levelling your character. If the pay walls aren't ridiculous, it could be a fun time-waster.
@KahnArtizt: I could say the same thing to you. If you don't like ignorant redneck douchebags, then why are you on Gamespot's comment section? This place is THEIR Pride Parade.
@shinspikes: That's what I was talking about. I understand the difference between North and South Korea, but I thought when I used to search online for console modding stuff a bunch of Korean devices used to show up along with the Chinese. Maybe my memory is wrong, or maybe I was seeing Korean sellers selling Chinese products.
I don't really care about either of these games, but I was interested because I never expected copyright laws to matter in Korea. I always thought they were more like China where you can directly rip off anything you want.
I'm not usually one to cry "conspiracy", but I really do just get the impression that this site is staffed by people who all just hate the multiplayer survival genre. Either that or they are reviewing from the perspective of "If a casual gamer buys this, how much would they understand without hand holding?"
The latter isn't a bad idea for the target audience, but I think the genre has been around long enough for people to know what it is now.
