Does it really matter? Does the Australian government actually bother tracking this stuff if you paid for the Kickstarter, then use Bittorent to download the game in AU? I don't think the devs are going to waste money suing people for pirating in a country where they can't sell their game anyway, and if they do they can just look up your Kickstarter account.

Edit: Didn't see this was on X1. File this under "Console Problems".

It's probably because too many Xbox fans asked, "What kind of game is an RPG? Is it the ball kind, or the shooty kind? "

@Destructionzz: You're probably more likely to enjoy this if you never played the original. This doesn't even feel like it's aimed at fans of the first game so far.

@xenomorphalien: They will. They'll make massive improvements in marketing and innovations in dishonesty that aren't even possible with today's technology. And all the people will buy it and swear that they won't buy Destiny 4.

I've got sources inside Activision, and the new mode is definitely something that is unique. Here's how it works:

You start with two players on the battlefield with no weapons. Then all other players pay to enter giant lootboxes, and the players already on the field have to race to buy them and add players to their team. Then everyone buys random weapons out of lootboxes, the teams fight, and each time you die you have the option of spending 25 cents to continue like an old arcade game. Whichever team spent the most money is the winner and advances to face richer opponents.

@Atzenkiller: "Their PR department is top notch"

It's almost as if their PR department includes certain websites...

@naz99: I'm kind of disappointed DubiouSoft didn't catch on. I don't remember who posted it, but I thought it was a clever nickname.

That's cool, it used to run crappy on the original Xbox and not much improved on 360. I didn't have a good PC at the time so I played it on consoles anyway.

But I'm not sure how many people will need this because even a mediocre PC has been able to run this on high settings for about 10 years now.

@timmyp1982: It could be, but why do they suddenly care now? It never worked well on the PS3 in the first place, and they still released it. So at From Software, the original release can be full of performance issues, but the cash-grab release on weaker hardware has to run well?

@RyanSaotome: Actually a remaster can be any random improvements that the devs want it to be. It just has to become the new main version (or "master" version that all copies derive from) going forward.
