I don't see the point of waiting to review the game when this is the experience that the paying customers will be getting. Might as well wait 5 years to review it when the game will finally be complete after being sold to us over again 3 more times.

@nl_skipper: It'll be fine. This game is more about humor than gameplay, so they will only need to replace some sprites and insert new dialogue and cutscenes. It's exactly the type of project that Ubisoft excels at.

Yet I bet all the N64 emulators on PC can do it just fine. How can companies expect complaints about piracy to be taken seriously when what they expect you to pay for is interior to what you could get for free?

Honestly, I would even buy Dead Sun and at least give it a fair chance. But if they are going to reboot SR1, then it would be cool if they put back in the missing third of the game that they deleted the first time around. It could still work with the rest of the story, they would just have to have an ending cut scene where after using the cathedral to destroy all vampires, he sees something terribly wrong that shouldn't be and realizes that Kain has been time-travelling. So he still has to go back and meet him in the past to try to fix what he thinks Kain messed up.

The first one was pretty good, but by the end they had totally wussed out Lisbeth's character to make her more palatable to the American mainstream. Most of the second and third movies wouldn't have made sense with the American version of the character. Smart move to skip to part 4.

Since most PC monitors and TVs now use the same kind of HDMI cable, I fail to see why I couldn't just buy a longer cable and run it from my PC to my TV.
