@hippystank: Exactly.....I could give 2 shits about ever running into another player-- never even cared anyways, because I even knew at a technical standpoint that running into other players wouldn't even exist. Hell, I actually even made a comment to someone on this site like a month ago that running into other players, if even possible, you would actually never even see them due to the algorithm being used.....it just wouldn't happen.
@smokerob79: The game IS online, its just the only thing that is actually logged online is the creation of planets and flora fauna within the proceduraly generated code. This game is NOT an MMO so players discovering each other will NEVER happen......which is why Sean Murray even giving any hint to that is what is blowing people's minds.
@nickiamx: Good for you, you've been using a PC since you were 10.....just like everybody else in the entire fucking world. Hell I've been using it since they existed.....what's the difference.
@Abomination713: I totally fucking agree with you! I also would give it a 6/10, and that score is based solely on how well the Fox Engine runs and the controls-- which are both top-notch! The graphics are amazing and the Fox Engine runs so damn smooth on all versions (most specifically PC and PS4). The controls are also great and I wish more stealth-oriented games would use them like MGSV. That being said, the game is a complete bore-fest albeit from the main story line. Doing all these boring back-and-forth side-missions with an absolutely desolate open-world is just gut-wrenching. MGSV should have taken what Assassin's Creed III did wrong with it's dead open-world and gone the other direction. Don't get me wrong the world is absolutely stunning, but it is dead with nothing to do other than the horrendous repeating side-missions.
