@gamerno66666 I doubt it will compete with AAA titles and titles with more gameplay centric approaches and wider audiences, but it's certainly a valuable and memorable experience.
@awhite33 @MJ12-Conspiracy Agreed. I've had my personal issues with online, I don't enjoy PvP, so finding players out to 'get me anyway they can' even when I'm set to passive mode was a bit disheartening, but still, the co-op is incredibly fun.
@Slade968 Works fine on Google Chrome, and yeah, people have been reporting issues with Adblock, which, if you care about GameSpot's well being, you shouldn't be using anyways.
@Slade968 The fact that women are used solely to further the male protagonist's story is a much deeper issue that relates to storytelling and culture as a whole. Unfortunately, we still live in the 'strong, white male' must be a protagonist for a story to be a success culture because of a long series of pre-established Hollywood paradigms.
I agree that GTA didn't represent women in any positive light, but on the other hand, they didn't represent men such either.
I'm having fun with it as well, my only issue so far is that 'passive mode' doesn't stop you from being killed by other players in the open world. They can still kill you by running you over with their car, and anytime you need to do an open world mission (e.g. hijacking a car for Simeon), other players get free reign to shoot you if you're in a stolen vehicle. Had one instance where players were camping the spot Simeon requests you bring cars to.
