Everyone I read seems to really enjoy this game. Thanks for your rundown!

Been playing this this week, this game is actually really fun. Great sense of humor, good voice acting, and a solid combat system. It feels like playing through an 80s/90s explosive action movie.

@gsbliss @Necrotron @AggrandizedUser Ah, thanks. It's been awhile since I used that word in type.

@ArmorGod Totally, what a generous monetization model. I hope it works out for them.

@Gelugon_baat I would agree that it was not what people were looking for with Diablo III. It's much more forgivable for a free game though.

@AggrandizedUser Are they!? I'm pretty sure they've been giving the whole gambit of scores as usual.

Just finished the game the other night, and enjoyed it. I know I'm late to the party and the discussion has gone to arguing over the score, but I'm not here for that.

It certainly told the story in a unique and interesting way. The texture work was all stellar, and the ambient sound/music made for an ideal atmosphere for each scene. And hello 90s throwbacks! I recognized nearly every object in the game from my childhood. Solid experience, and an interesting way to tell a story. I could go for a short game with pacing like this on a regular basis.

GTA Online is frustrating if what you want out of it is the co-op PvE content and not the PvP. You can't do any open world missions if you've set passive mode (since you can't shoot), and if someone manages to set a bounty on you during any moment you don't have passive mode set (e.g. just exiting a mission, just logging in, etc.), your only options are to either commit suicide or hang out in your garage for 15 minutes doing nothing. Or you can just play on a private server or only with friends, but part of the allure of the online aspect is always having someone to play with.

I just wish there were more viable PvE options, but that's not really how it was designed.

Not bad, eh? That's actually refreshingly good news.

Anyone try one of these yet with PC? How easy is it to setup for use with games?

Also, Sierra Nevada, good choice.
