and you said that the assault weapons ban will fly through the congress with the democrats in control, thats not necessarily true. The Republicans might filibuster it (The dems do NOT have a filibuster proof majority), and it probably will not pass if it isnt passed before 2010 (by that time, Obama will probably be enourmously unpopular and we (the republicans) Will sweep both houses of Congress)danwallacefan
We? What public office do you hold?

I'm ashamed to admit... but... Commando. I really like it, it just oozes with cheese.Samwel_X
And the best line comes from one of the cannon fodder soldiers. (polishing a knife with a borderline offensive Mexican accent) Y'know, slitting a little girl's throat.....is like cutting warm butter.

[QUOTE="biggest_loser"]Also my second question: what movies are there to look forward to next year. After the announcement of a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street, there has to be some light at the end of this tunnel. Iron_will
28 Months Later.

28 Weeks Later was to 28 Days Later what Caddyshack 2 was to Caddyshack. Terrible movie that completely urinated on the mythos the first movie painstakingly built.

I'm trying to get a few more apps as my screen is kind of bare. Which would you recommend and why?

I have Kotoba! on mine right now and it is by far my favorite free app. It's a Japanese/Kanji dictionary that gives a breakdown of the words you look up as well as how to write the kanji for it properly.

My favorite pay one is the USA Today crossword app. Great time killer that keeps your brain working.

[QUOTE="biggest_loser"][QUOTE="Devvy01"]RobbieH1234 ... you missed Indiana jones and crystal skull The Incredible Hulk soon to be released The Day the Earth stood still

Indiana Jones was watchable but it certainly wasn't worth waiting 20 years for. Nosireebob.

I'm of the mind that even if Indiana Jones was as good as TDK that people would still have been disappointed from it. 19 years is much too long.

Would you? At what age would you consider it? I would If I felt they were mature enough to handle the content.MoonMarvel
My parents always took me to see very violent movies back in the days when I was growing up. Ironically, when my parents and I went to see "Rising Sun" when I was 20 (I'm dating myself, yes), my mother tried to get me to close my eyes so I would not see the initial table sex scene.
