Wait is it seriously no longer infinite? I assumed that was just the trial version. Why has no one said this before? That's taking away one of the best things about minecraft. They'd bettter fix that in a later update, before someone runs out of diamonds.

"I will fight the enemy regardless of their allegiance"

Kind of an empty statement when he's shown only killing red coats.

Maybe Gamespot could hire them as there isn't enough sarcastic British humour on this site.

Well done sir, you have just insulted most of the console gaming community.

That doesn't seem like a bad idea really. I'm not saying I would do it and I think the pricing is a little off (not the fact that it's more, mainly that it's such a large price to begin with) but it's nice to see a different method for a different market. After all, people do this kind of thing for phones, why not for consoles?

It's good but what about when I want to dislike someone's comment? There's nothing that can restore your faith in mankind than seeing something really racist or whatever is rated -30 or more, but now what? Will they just have 3 likes from equally wrong people? How will that make the GS community look?

The most interesting and important question is the last one imo. There needs to be significant rewards for exploring rather than just collectables - they give me no motivation. Interesting NPCs are more my kind of reward, or mysterious items that trigger new events with other NPCs you previously met.

Before I watched this video I felt a little embarrassed that I had never played these games. Now I feel ashamed. Well there are no excuses now - I am going to play Half Life.

Day one DLC and on-disk DLC just makes it look like the publishers care more about making money than making a good game (which is likely - they are publishers after all). After that, it doesn't matter how good the game is, it still has this stain left on it that makes you feel like you're being played. In the same way free DLC is like someone giving you a donut and you can't help but like them more for it (I'm that shallow), this is like someone takeing your donut when you hadn't offered them one. OK it's not exactly the same but the feeling is similar, and if publishers keep doing this I'm just going to eat my donuts elsewhere.

I guess if you know that you want to play a game you might as well pre-order it, especially if you don't have time to go out and shop for it but want it on the day it comes out. But a week before is early enough to place you pre-order imo. Btw I noticed Halo 4 appear on amazon shortly after it was announced at E3 2011 :(
