Besides the obvious choices there are a few underrated games that are worth considering.  If you ignore the ear-splitting sound issues Beyond Oasis is a pretty good rpg.  It reminds me of a lot of the Mana games.   Ice Hockey is a lot of fun if you have someone to play with.  If you want a challenge Super Ghouls and Ghosts is a great way to go.  And of course you can't go wrong with any of the Nintendo classics.

I got mine a week or two after launch.  I waited for 9 hours in freezing cold Canadian weather and it was worth every minute.  A week ago I actually saw a Wii on the shelf for the first time.  It was the last one (out of 10 that arrived 2 hours earlier according to an employee).  I'm sure it won't be long before they become more readily available.

I usually try to prolong the experience especially it it's a game I really love.  It took me 80 hours to finish Zelda because I really took my time with it.  I always try to finish games 100% so that adds to the time too.  I tend to blow through VC games though because there's so many available I'd never get through them if I took my time.

I love this game.  I'm trying to play it only 2 hours a day so it lasts.  I think it's even better than the previous Paper Mario games and that's saying a lot.

Yoshi touch and go.  I bought it on a whim without doing any research and I was very dissappointed.

I am absolutely loving this game, even more than I thought I would.  I don't miss the turn based combat at all.  I was worried that this might be a problem but I think it vastly improves the flow of the game.  I think it's my favorite in the series so far.

I think it would be great for the consumer but not so great for sales.  I've bought quite a few games that if I had played a demo first I wouldn't have bought them.  I haven't seen any where a demo would have secured my purchase. If a game that I've never played before interests me I read up on it online and make my decision from there.  I accept that sometimes it's a hit and miss so I have no regrets.  The games are cheap so I'm fine with it.

I've mostly been playing Godfather and Sonic.  I'll get every fire soul and gold medal if it kills me.  As of next Tuesday I'm sure I'll be playing SPM.  I don't know why people keep saying there's a drought.  I've had more than enough to keep me busy and there's still a few great games that I plan on picking up like Trauma Centre, Excite Truck and Elebits.
