Well, i'm not a sheep, but if you ask me, i'd say there are numerous quality first-party games from Nintendo such as Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime, SSBB and Mario Kart which all use the innovative - or at least different and refreshing - Wii controls to create some nice, new, quality gameplay, in tandem with a few 3rd party titles like No More Heroes.

That's one reason isn't it? Is the thread over now?

JPOBS

-_-...

Yes, that one game in the list which we all know doesn't use motion controls, does not use motion controls. I sure am owned for not taking the time to point out the blatantly obvious.

My bad. You showed me.

[QUOTE="HellRazer360"]its still beating ps3 by millions of consoles...so i dont think microsoft is worriednogginkl

You don't think Microsoft is worried about gamers RRODing their consoles on purpose? I am sure someone at Microsoft is sweating blood for this.

1). The 3 year warranty is from day of purchase. While you do get your console guaranteed again after it's repaired, it sure as hell isn't for another three years.

2). How exactly do you RROD on purpose anyway? Seeing as it automatically turns off when it's on for too long and over heats.

3). What is your obsession with the term "sweating blood." ?

:| The pros of the 360 controller are these:
Dip in analog
heavier feel
triggers

Pros for PS3 controller Dualshock3/six axis(which ever one you got)
Lighter
more comfortable
better d-pads
both analogs parallel
pressure sensetive buttons
R1+L1 actually feel like shoulder buttons, not bumper add ons

Winner PS3 controller..... i'm being as unbiased as possible. I had to grab them both just to compare again.

Adrian_Cloud

Both analogues parallel is widely regarded as a bad thing. :|

Lighter is widely regarded as a bad thing. It feels like a piece of empty plastic.

Better Dpad? Sure. The 360 d-pad is horrible.

The bumpers are better than shoulder buttons as you can click them so easily rather than pressing them like buttons.

Seriously; the 360's controller is the best conventional game controller ever made. It's just a shame it has the one fault of the dodgy d-pad.

TC, can you not go a day without posting the same, tired "Microsoft is doomed!" or "the xbox 360 is going to fail!" arguements? Everything you post is always incredibly twisted towards one point of view, always incredibly open to opinion, and nearly always completely torn apart by the time the thread is done with.

Post about something else. It's like you're copy and pasting the same rants every day.

[QUOTE="iGame_Champion"] more people have HDtV's than SD's now in 2009 you will have to get rid of your SDTV lowe0
Source? Link?

Why ask for a source to something which is patently untrue? :P

Seeing as they are considered a credible review source, and their reviews are taken into account when calculating an average,I think it's garbage when they persuade people to go pay money for trash like Halo and Fight Night Round 3 (perfect 10 wtf?)

I can understand when a website like Sony Defense Force makes ridiculous fanboy statements. But an official magazine, come on. PC gamer doesn't do this kind of stuff,so I've moved over to them.

stephant_6

See, now you've said something silly like "halo is garbage" and effectively yelled "disregard my angry fanboyism" all over your own thread.

It happens in other magazines too like GameInformer and EGM !!

But I have to admit I never seen that kind of bias in the Playstation magazine...

NathanDrake

Except for... y'know... being the only people to say Killzone was any good. And the whole monthly column on why the xbox sucks? :|

As for the topic: i am deeply shocked and appalled that the writers of the official xbox magazine would have the gall to show bias towards the xbox. Madness.

Well with that new TV thing happening, there may certainly be more HDTVs being sold this year. More than SDTVs though? I doubt that much.

HDTVs will be outselling SDTVs, certainly, as HD has pretty much become the standard by now. There's no way there are more HDTV owners than SDTV owners though.
