Funny this thread came up because mine happened about 20 minutes ago. :P Playing the new ranked BTB playlist on halo 3, driving around on the chopper, blasted up one of the triangular structures and must have hit the boost at exactly the right time or something because the chopper went up higher than i've ever seen a ground vehicle get on any halo game. It went so high, as it arced back down to fall back to the floor, i was actually flying downwards at a banshee. So that's a land-based, driving vehicle dive-bombing a flyer. Madness.

Anywho, i hit the booster, which when you think about it probably shouldn't work when you're off the ground seeing as it's runs on a giant wheel... but whatever. The boost smashed me right into the enemy banshee, which as with all head-on contact with the chopper, resulted in it exploding horribly while i dropped to the ground to speed off like a badass.

All 14 players in the lobby commented on how godly a kill it was. :P It's on my fileshare. :)

It was great until you went into the longterm/short-term PS3 sony fanboy propaganda. :|

While i agree mostly; you're wrong that microsoft are under pressure because of HD-DVD. I'm fairly sure they've made it obvious by now that they could care less about the format wars. They said from the beginning that DVD9 would do this gen; and it is. They have absolutely no reliance on the formats at all; the only reason they offer add-ons at all is for the minority of people who want a console which can play high-def movies. The add-ons at least make the 360 an option for them.

As for sony being king of HD right now; i think you're forgetting that microsoft's xbox live is the number one source of HD movie downloads in the world. Second only to iTunes with SD movies.

ms is slow about releasing stock on the elite. they might actually be dumping it but i remember last year when it came out it was hard to find.xbox360isgr8t

They did say a while back that the elite would eventually just become a normal 360. As in, the premium only with a normy 20gb HDD and an HDMI port. The 120GB HDD would just be an accessory.

So yeah, it could be that time. Maybe they're not making the elite any more.

[QUOTE="cosmostein77"]

Three games in two weeks?

That is cause for at least some concern among at least the 20/40 GB PS3 owners.

deebo_x

I'm a 20 gig owner I've upgraded my harddrive to 80gigs for 60bucks so no problem here. Even before I upgraded my hdd all I did was erase the install when I was done playing it so I don't see a problem. Alot of 360 fans are forgetting the some PS3 fans were mocking that 20gigs in the 360 wasn't enough for all the downloadable content offered on live and the response to that was just delete old content.:|

Dont the capcom games demand that you install it and keep it there? Like if you delete it, you cant put it back, can you? I heard something of that nature, but i've never seen it as i dont own any capcom games on my PS3.

If it is the case; what the hell capcom? I kinda doubt it is though....

I think cows cannot expect lemmings to ignore the install issue when cows have an epic deal of any game which releases on more than one disc.

What goes around comes around; one of many, many downsides in being a fanboy.

I'll be getting it on the PC for the mods anyway, but i guess a simultaneous release is a good thing. Stops all the pointless graphical debates of "but the extra dev time!" and the like which oblivion spawned.

I'm taking that with a pinch of salt. Whoever wrote it seems to think microsoft still own bungie, which hardly makes them an expert on the matter.

Because they make about $95 dollars on it a pop. Why do you think they don't include it on a single X360 sku?

Free money baby. Microsoft Likey

EmperorSupreme

Go and look up third party adapters. They're all around 50-100 $. :|

Just buy a third party one. You'll find them slightly cheaper; they're all expensive though.
