I hear alot of PC users claim that the mouse and keyboard is the ultimate control method for FPS....and I cannot find any substance to this argument at all.

The mouse itself isn't too bad for the looking around and clicking to shoot - but add the keyboard to the mix and the whole thing just goes terribly wrong. I just can't see how anyone can defend the key board as a great way to contol a FPS.

It seems to me to be the most ill suited tool to control movement (and all the other secondary functions) ever?

RTS - yes, mouse and keyboard is perfect and the idea of trying to play RTS usuing a controller, is again, the complete opposite to the above arguemtment - RTS with a controller is just ill suited.

Am I the only one that thinks this way?

You obviously werent around when Quake 3 came out. PC and Dreamcast could pay online together. The online multiplayer was a joke for the dreamcast gamers. They were demolitied by the PC gamers due to the fact of Keyboard and Mouse controlls. The controls on the controller could not keep up and was so funny palying them online. There was no challenge.

Thats all the proof you need right there, end of discussion.

[QUOTE="pirategunner"][QUOTE="NismoNissan41"]Yes the PS3 is coming to an end. They are losing so much money on there systemn that has failed to perform. Home has been delayed without waring or notice. They built alot of hype last fall and then it diapeared Gran Turismo for the psp and PS3 has been delayed for years. There really isnt any games that have come out that re decent for the PS3. Metal Gear was a copy GRAW, RE4, and Call of Duty. Nothing new. The desing of the PS3 controller is 11 years old. Sony has nothing to offer.MFDABADKID

Oh and the 360 has so many inovations right? You want new and innovative, LITTLE BIG PLANET and EchoChrome! to name a few.

I second that. Sony has been beating the 360 in sells this year winning 5 out of 6 month's this year.

Who cares about sales of a system if they have no games to offer or any online features.

THe game is tootally worth $50. It is one of my favorite games on the Wii. One of the most underated games on the Wii. Dont listen to Gamespot's review. The guy does not know what he is talking about and has no physics knowledge.

I love everything about the system. But they could improve on 2 major areas. First more storage. I dont know if they need to come out with a bigger hard drive or if they can make memeory cards that the system can save, load, and read game saves off of. ANd the only other thing that I would hope for is at least 720p. WIth the other systems being HD quality. I was a little dissapointed when I heard there was only 480p.

Where in the settings is the sleep mode? I didn't see at all. Also the only reason why I noticed the wii this morning is because the dvd drive flashed blue. I did it do that because I got an email? And secondly if it is in standby mode does the wii receive emails? The power light was green, not orange.

The only thingI dont understand is that I turned off the wii with the wii remote and the screen went black, and the controller lights turned off. I don't have any kids so there was no accidental turn off. Is it possible to turn off the controller without turning off the wii.

Sorry for a lot of noob questions.

Hello,

I have had my Wii for a couple of days and I have it in a tv stand with glass/wood doors. anyways I thought I turned it off with the Wii remote last night. But this morning I found it on. It must have been left on for about 14 hours.

Is that bad for the Wii? can it cause internal damage?

Also is there a sleep mode?

What is the percentage of Wii's breaking?

Lastley what is the warranty on the Wii? is it a year like the PS3?

Thanks
