@somebodysilent @NorwegianWinter Thanks, I really don't think I could of figured out that $30 is more than $20 without your help. Appreciate it. Either way, that isn't the point. Using grossly exaggerated hearsay, which can easily be debunked by maybe a minute of research, is the point.
@Crabjock Except DayZ really isn't just a "glorified deathmatch": surviving really is the primary focus and even the Alpha, at it's current stage, retains heavy emphasis on that concept. There will be players eliminating other players, sometimes "excessively", but that is an inevitable aspect the game and is actually one of the highlights.
The Standalone is in Alpha, which clearly means it's a work in progress with a lot of change ahead of it. It also depends on what server you join. Somebody else who doesn't know what they're talking about, or has even played it.
@TheExxorcist DayZ Standalone Alpha has never been $60. It's $30 and always has been. Know what you're talking about before you attempt to talk about it.
@TheExxorcist Hardcore, biased fanboy you are. The hardware on both is fairly similar, but it doesn't matter because they're both already dated, PS4 is in no way an exception. You're just another fanboy twisting information to favor his bias. I'll have both in the next couple months so it's pointless to attack either console. I have Ryse and it's pretty good, but being a fanboy that probably hasn't played it you wouldn't really know anything about that. Both PS4 and Xbox One upscale games, but it's the very start of the generation and they have years to mature. Considering how many objects are on screen and animated all in real time, Dead Rising 3 looks and runs good, I know, I have it as well. Again, you wouldn't know much about that.
XFD Come on Sony fanboys, where are you now!?!? You've been talking mad shit about the Xbox One for this very reason and Sony pulls a fast one on you RIGHT before the PS4 goes on sale hahahaha!!! They aren't even trying to hide it, they're blatantly screwing you XD. What a joke
@Derpalon @NorwegianWinter I made a comparison between Xbox Live and PSN that is in no way vague, and I find it accurate after years of first hand use. It serves as a significant reference and reinforces my point of justifiable remuneration for a superior service. If my opinion of it is that it's absolute crap then I wouldn't pay for it. PSN as it is now does not justify a cost comparable to Xbox Live. If strides in quality are made with the service on the PS4 then I consider that adequate.
Yeah, because on-disc DLC is completely relevant and relates to this in every way and I was clearly complaining about it in my post, or made any mention of it in the slightest bit. Come back when you have something legit to say.
Xbox Live isn't free, but it's also a lot better than PSN. I know because I've been using both the entire generation. I know first hand it's better. But if you can't afford $50 or $60 a year then you really don't have any business playing online, or gaming in general, because clearly it's beyond your means. And there are deals on Ebay, Newegg, etc fairly often. Not really much reason to pay full price anyways. Those are probably the smallest "bills" you'll pay in your life. Get the F over it.
