Killzone: Liberation for the PSP was awesome.
Anyway, we're talking about the game that introduced SPRINT. Gaming wouldn't be where it is today without Killzone. We'll all be trodding along, slightly slower.

no...
I'm not exactly sure what was my first.
I remember playing Diablo 2 and Starcraft regularly online, but I'm sure there had to be a few before that. Obviously they weren't as important to me as Diablo or SC.
The E8400 is a good margin better than the Q6600 so get the E8400 instead.filmography
Well, the Q6600 OC'ed to about 3.4Ghz and up, can and will out perform the E8400. And the nice thing about having a Q6600 is the fact that when games start utilizing the 4 cores, you're already fully prepared to take them on.
You look like you've picked a good set-up there. Although, by the looks of the motherboard, I'm sure the Bios options will be farely simple, but I'm pretty sure you don't care. Overall, that kind of rig will last you a little while. No need to upgrade for a few yrs, that processor is going to last you 3-4+ years.
All in all. It'll be a good investment for all those parts.
I did not hate the game, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've got over 60 hours logged on to it. Now, with that said, the game was heavily dumbed down compared to what Bethesda had told us it would be. They said it would be a sequel to Morrowind improving on everything Morrowind did right and then some. But no, it fell short, extremely short. It failed to provide an experience with any dpeth, or one that sucked you into the game. Once you get past the pretty visuals on PC and the same lines by NPC's over and over again, you realize that this is a dumbed down game. It's true. The frame rate problems, the lack of depth, the bad menu system, so many different things should have been better, but weren't, why?
I think we all know the answer
If you want to go for the 9 series, and have a big budget; wait for the other 9 series cards to be released. Otherwise, instead of getting a 9600GT, I'd say spend about $20-$30 more and get an 8800GT. It's an overall better card as I have seen in tests.

there's a nice card.
Now for a processor, you don't necessarily need to go Quad. If you have the money though, it might not be such a bad investment. I got myself a Q6600, and can easily overclock it to 3.0Ghz.
Be smart about your purchases. Read reviews, study up on it, and build what you want.
[QUOTE="zero9167"][QUOTE="3verlastingHero"][QUOTE="xTHExJUICEx"]To be honest the only difference I saw in the game was the fact they added the running feature.3verlastingHeroAnd a ripoff of the CoD4 XP/scoring systemvegas had an xp system first. If anything COD4 copied vegas because COD2 or 3 did not have an XP system.I meant how there is now an XP bar at the bottom of the screen JUST like CoD4, and when you kill someone a number pops up saying you got XP, Vegas 1 DID NOT have this, Ubisoft obviously saw how much it did for CoD4 and stole it and put it in their game.
Everyone takes from Everyone.
It's how games evolve.
