Why is everyone making such a huge deal about the whole "Bungie is leaving Microsfot!" thing. First off, this has yet to be completely confirmed, but eeveryone seems to be making a big deal about it.

Second, why would this even be a huge blow to Microsoft? MS still will own the rights to the Halo series, and will be able to make it so future games from Bungie aren't released on certain platforms. The only thing this does is give Bungie the opportunity to make w/e new IP's they wish to make. MS can still make those new IP's exclusive to the 360.

I don't see what the huge deal is...

I don't think teamxbox would just make up the fact that they have sources to continue to perpetuate this "rumour".

Until an official announcement is made by either company, it is still technically a rumor, like it or not.

Point remains. Evidence is still mounting up.

You can have all the evidence you want, doesn't make it official yet. I'm not saying it hasn't happened, but I'm not going to say it has either.

Graphically...ehhh, it depends on how you look at it

From a technical standpoint, I'd say Bioshock is the top dog right now, because it is simply amazing with the atmosphere the water and lighting effects and everything they have going on.

Graphically, you could argue Heavinly Sword is the best right now, although, I wasn't completely impressed. Up close the textures get quite muddy and aren't very detailed. And I can't get past how horrid her hair is(just something that really bugs me while playing the game). The scale is great though, the backdrops are beautiful, and faces and facial animations are amazing

Artistically I'd say Halo 3. The colors and all the art designs are just great. Halo 3 is one great looking game.

It really depends on how you look at it in the end, I guess.

Furthermore, I don't see why Sony would come out with a $400 PS3. I mean, sure, it'll sell well, but they're losing money on the current price points, why would they drop the PS3 price and lose more money? What if the $400 didn't sell well? They would just keep losing money, and then what would Sony do then? Raise the price back up?

I'm not saying $400 would be bad for the consumer, tha'd be great, but it just may end up hurting Sony depending on how the sales go. And don't say that it will sell much much better, because there's still the possibility of it not.

I'm just looking at all the aspects of this. Chances are it will sell better, but it may not.

The PS3 installs game on the HDD, so the load times are sped up, therefore it's taking up a lot of space. My PS3 has about 8 or 9 gb used up (I'll have to go check), while I've only used 2 or 3 on my 360.

The whole Bingie thing was a rumor. Doubtful it's true.

MS would not make asuch a stupid decision to dump Bungie. Even if they did, they still have the rights to the Halo series, so MS wouldn't be losing a whole lot.

Metroid Prime did deserve Higher, I'll give you that. It was a great experience. But if you've played Halo 3, youalso know that deserved it's score.

Metroid Prime deserved higher than it got, it is a great game. And Halo deserved the score it was given.
