There's a few things that you have to consider tho:Not everyone with a console has high speed internet. Games are only going to get larger in file size and unless everyone who wants a console has high speed internet then it won't work. Are there going to be options from where you can buy those digital downloads? I mean are you going to be stuck with that consoles specific store (psn store/xbox marketplace), because then you won't ever be getting a good deal.

There are many good reasons for consoles to lose disc drives though. Like with less moving parts then the consoles should be more reliable and less prone to breaking. Especially if instead of hdd they have ssd's so with both that and no disc drive there'll be a lot less heat also greatly improving reliability. Digital downloads are also much more convenient.

Still, for the foreseeable future consoles will most likely stick with both discs and digital distribution options.

Anybody else having a problem with the Fortune Hunters Club showing up like it was never bought? I paid for it last week and obtained the theme and it had the red bag next to it showing that I bought it but today I went on the psn store and the red bag wasnt there so I tried rating it to check if it would allow me and it didn't saying "only users who bought this can rate" or something along those lines. So is it a glitch others are having or am I gonna have to call sony support or something?

Side note...is it just me or do these games look better than the GoW 1 & 2 collection?

It is you. GoW 2 looked better.

Haha, maybe...but no one has an answer about my other questions?

So I just received the GoW orgins collection and it says that it comes with DLC Legionnaire Kratos and Forest of the Forgotten Challenge Arena. I'm not sure what either of those are for, I mean are they or one of the 2 games in the origins collection or are they for GoW III? And how do I redeem them? The game didn't come with a code and it was bought new.

Side note...is it just me or do these games look better than the GoW 1 & 2 collection?

I'm looking for a cable to connect my ipod to my tv. I was looking at the following 2 cables:

http://www.amazon.com/S-Video-3-5mm-Audio-Composite-Cable/dp/B003X0COLW/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

http://www.amazon.com/Scosche-IPAV-SneakPEAK-Audio-iPhone/dp/B001DK9LB0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1316748284&sr=8-1

I've never connected my iPod to my tv before and it looks simple enough to do but I'm not sure what type of cable works best. Whether composite or component, or if it should be connected through the 3.5 or the dock connector. Any help on which one of the above cables or any other recommendations would be helpful. Thanks.

I was actually wondering the same thing b/c I just recently traded in my old fat 80gb ps3 for a new slim 160gb model. It still has the power (red/green) led lights and hdd access light but is missing the blue eject light. So I guess some still have certain lights while others have them taken completely out?

Anyway, I found this: http://kotaku.com/5813429/ps3s-new-flavor-is-lighter-less-power+thirsty

So basically there's really no difference is what I'm getting. Also no matter how many times I convert lossless music to another lossless format, whether it be wav. aiff. flac. apple lossless, etc. I'm not gonna be losing any quality right? lossless is lossless is lossless I take it...this is really just for future proofing my music. After all I don't know what encoders there'll be in 10, 20, or more years from now, what kind of music players are out, or the audio equipment I'll have and although I imagine I won't still keep all of my music if I even keep most of it atleast I'll know that it'll still be in the best lossless quality condition I can keep it in.

I would try to keep an original copy that you use for all your duplicates

I keep both FLAC and WAV because hardly anything supports FLAC other than a PC.KHAndAnime

Keep both the orginal flac and wave music file? Sorry but I don't really see why...the wav file still has the same quality as the flac right so why have both?
