Ya it might be one gen behind now but its the high end of a very recent generation of hardware so yes that pc is a beast and good deal for your situation IMO. People freak out cuz its not the newest but its not asoutdated as people make it seem. Its still a very fast and overclockable quad core (8 cores hyperthreaded) CPU and powerfull GPU.

Don't get GTX 580 : Get Two GTX 560 TI OC :P or HD6950 2GB OC for the price of a GTX 580 much more performances and ur still picking something from overpriced place like i said i can find 750-850W from 64.99$ (750) and 850W as low as 90$-110$ After MIR and there high quality

Those Warranty Kind of Biased Because almost all part in a PC is 3 - 7 Year Warranty and when youg t Hardware Issue you just ship to RMA it not justifiying a such high price for some Extended Warranty that you can buy

anyway if you sure ul want to tag along with the very same hardware piece for 3-5 year you can alway purchase Extended Warranty plan if you feel it gonna Break
if you buy from XFX (For GPU) it Lifetime Warranty +1 = You can sell on ebay and he get the same warranty as you

And I don't Find XtremeGear optical mouse Looking that Great for gaming :P if you want some good mouse pic some Logitech Gaming grade mouse Like the G series or Razer or Cyborb R.A.T if ur in that sort of mice

marcthpro

I was arguing to for him to build it himself, I was just proving a point that even on the same site he used I could build a better pc because that guy called me out... and I only chose the 580 cuz 2 cards on that site are wayy overpriced

[QUOTE="Obiwan_1O"]People cant handle that Radeons are better than geforces... C_Rule
I think you mean; people can't handle neither are better than the other.

well not distinctly better but these things fluctuate and right now across the board of the modern cards ATI prb has a slight edge for the reasons I listed earlier. Im definatly not saying nvidias are bad, but either wayppl shouldent write offone whole set because of unessicary fanboyism tofreakin GPU companies.

If you really want a new card get this $235 with rebate and then if it cant max BF3 you can always crossfire is then, a very cheapand powerfull option.I would do that or wait honestly. I cant wait to see whats gonna happen when they come out with 28nm chips...

yea and plus BF3 is going to be optimized to run on nvidia cards so you definitely want to avoid amd and get a gtx 580 or 570 good moveferelden

running slightly better on a few games now dosent seem like a good enough reason to swear off an entire manufaturer.

Nvidia cards currentlyrun hotter, draw more power, have less bang for your buck, and dont do DX11 as well which is actually the way of the future so I think he should keep his options open. Theres no reason for such bias.
