Total Metroid and 360-Bashin'

My mom took me and my brother to Gamestop the other day, and then to Taco Bell. At GS I hung around for a bit talking to the manager about games *Surprise*! I got to play a PSP for the first time and those who know me know that I severely dislike Sony. Even through my sony-hating mist I can see why people appreciate the PSP. It's got very nice graphics, has a nice control scheme, and the whole system is compact and sleek. I dismissed it though, as just a media machine like it seems all systems are turning into these days (One of the reasons I support the Revolution...). Anyways my mom is getting me a Game Boy Micro for Christmas, so that'll be fine with me! Then I walked to the back of the store where I seen the 360 sitting there begging for me to play it. At first glance I seen it was WAY bigger than what I thought it would be...I can give Microsoft one thing though, the Graphics on the Demo movies were amazing! Then I decided to give it a spin and I grabbed the controller and almost jumped back with horror! It isn't made out of the Hard Plastic I'm used to, it was made out of soft scratch-it-and-leave-a-mark plastic. I could tell it would make my hands sweat after a few minutes! Then when I tried to play it feltlike the controls were bunched to gether and I couldn't get a feel for the gameplay. After playing King Kong, and Kameo I walked back to the Gamecube Section picked up Metroid Prime, Nintendo Power, and EGM, and headed for the checkout where I also grabbed  a cool Legend of Zelda wristband! Then I walked out with awesome Gaming Merchandise, 10 Soft Tacos, and 1 Day of School Left until a whole weekend of gameplaying...

Note:I've Decided to Discontinue my Smash Trophy Count, for now, mainly because I'm kinda into Metroid Prime at the moment!

25 Reasons I support the Revolution-

1.It's a Freakin' Nintendo Console!

2.Gamecube Games Galore!! (Compatibility)

3.I can finally once again whoop my friends in 007 Goldeneye without being called "Retro-Boy"

4.Downloadation of Retro Gamation!

5.Two Words-Zelda Revolution

Fall or Rise?

Many say that Nintendo is dying, their loosing supporters everyday, the Gamecube was there last cling on life and they slit it, that Their nothing like the Retro nintendo of old, and need to grow up before they become extinct. They say that the NES days rocked (I agree), that the Snes was Nintendo's claim to fame (Also Agree), but that after that things went wrong (I severely Disagree). Nintendo is a Gamers Company not a profit hog, or a Tech Spec. Just look at the Gamecube, while many say it is Nintendo's worst try yet I say it paved the way for what is about to go down in History books as a "Revolution". If you think about it, Microsoft created the Uber-Powerful graphic-hog we know as the Xbox. Basically a computer wrapped in a game box. Sony has the PS2, a CD-Listening, DVD-Watchin (Which is all my friend uses it for these days, I for one do not like Sony at all...) machine. Then Nintendo has the Gamecube, by leaving out the high-tech CD and DVD Playing crap, they delivered what true gamers really want, a great gaming console, with immersing games, at a reasonable cost. Like I said Nintendo is a Gamers Company, they could care less about graphics and specs. I bet I could pick 5 old games (Nes-Style) and 5 Beautiful looking Xbox games and The NES's Gameplay would beat out the Xboxs' everytime.Through there friendly gamer interface and awesome franchises Nintendo will reach out and play with us in the next generation, while Sony and Microsoft will roll aroun in the dough and let all of those "Gamers" out there waste money on what their systems truly are, computers. So before you say Nintendo is loosing it, before you say their endangered, think about this. Nintendo has been there, and will always be there caring nothing of the competition and more about satisfaction. So while all of you 360 lovers sit around ripping music and waiting for a compelling game, and while all of you Sony fanboys Watch the Metal Gear Solid 4 Trailer and wet yourselves for the 50th time. I'll Still be playing my awesome Gamecube, awaiting for Nintendo's next console which shall surely be.... a Revolution.

Comence Smashing!

After getting to the forest temple on Zelda:OOT, I decided to try my brother in SSBM, having not played in a week I thought I would be fine, but NO! He beat me almost every game! He ran around me with Fox, while I tried out Mario, Samus, and Link! So I packed up my N64 (Taking it back to my mom's house) and started playing more Super Smash Brothers then ever! I even made my on Adventure, where your Zeb, the bounty hunter, abandoned by your father and forced into an epic space battle! It even has sidequests! Soon I will be level 6 as well, and I can finally open a Revolution Union, like I've been wanting to for so long!

Neglectation...

I really should be doing my homework, and getting started on my Project for History, but I can't tear myself away from my N64, and the Sweet Ocarina of Time. It brings back great old memories everytime I get to a new area. I quit for the night and I'm at Zora's Domain. I also beat Star Fox:Assault on Bronze! Now to start working on getting a high-score. I'm taking it off my Now Playing List, because it is more of a game to ease my trigger fingers then to master. I also learned to wavedash on SSBM! I'm about to go chat on the forums for awhile, Update later!

15 Minutes of Pure Melee....

I am so close to obtaining all of the levels I can smell them, yet they seem so far away. i need 2 more, Past Dreamland and past Konga Jungle... i forgot how to get dreamland but for konga Jungle, you have to beat one of the games hardest challenges. So far I've devised three strategies that can get me to about 6 Minutes, but I still can't win. i'm getting very angry and if anyone reads this that can help, please respond.

Strategies-

1.Use Donkey Kong's Down + B move constantly

2.Get in a corner with Ganon and just use his a attack when someone gets near.

3. Place Mewtwo slightly left from the middle and charge his B attack (Not very good)

So I'm still smashing away for these last two levels...

Smashin' for like a week now...

A Hard Event....

I know your probably getting a little bored of my SSBM rants but I love that Game and it's sorta the only one I have... (I'm going to GS soon to use some of my $200) I've beat every event except for 2 (Space Travelers, and All-Star match 3) and then I'll unlock the final event. It just amazes me that everytime I turn on my Gamecube (My power button is going top need to be oiled soon ^_^) I find something else to do on SSBM! I'm concentrating on getting the Smash 1 & 2 Trophies right now... Otherwise their is not much to report...
