well hes talking online consoles only not pc, which he is still wrong about, i didnt mean to sound hostile in my last post but saying that without xbox there would be no online gaming is ubsurd, its like saying without the playstation we wouldnt have dual analog shooters which is also absurd since dual shock didnt come around till about 1999 and golden eye, one of the first dual shooters was released in 1997 on n64
um Dreamcast anyone? the first succesful online console, and believe me EVERYONE was trying to build online consoles since b4 playstation and n64, even america online's parent company made an online console, heck they had the idea of micro-transactions in there too, sry xbox didnt build online gaming, its been around, they just happened to be owned by a company who if you havent noticed are pretty big in the software industry
well i still say pointer controls arent par with moue yet but very close, some people have problems with the sensor bar, my friend is great at mohh2 but she has problems with the sensor bar for some reason, as a result her cursor jumps around, plus people who play consoles are use to analog, its a proven formula, pointer controls are still new and only on wii
actually i didnt mean conduit screens, these were test screens to show the kind of scale their game will have, so far i havent seen anything that compares to those screens, the landscapes looked HUGE
i love replayability and a game that truly poses long term fun will seem like a dream come true to those who love that type of game but no matter the longevity, time isnt kind to any kind of gaming, eventually something wil come out that plays/looks better, lasts longer, or is more replayable then anything else. i think that dead rising is a testament to longevity, but in a few years, some games will have similar ideas and more things to do and then what?
