i wouldnt say its not a total payoff, it encourages you to play longer, and lets you sort of explore, and the placement of some of the statues gets you thinking, is that really so bad, the game looks gorgeous for a title with such a small memory limit, it looks amazing for any kind of title actually, and i actually enjoyed just bobbing around more then the actual find this, do that, its just to add a little more longevity to the game imo
why dont you try pspvc, i tried it after a few problems with video9 and its worked better (for me atleast) i also get smaller files compared to video9, just go to google and type in PSP video converter v2.5 just like that and hit i feel lucky, it will skip the search results and give you the site you need, hope it helps
umm software dvd playback is possible, theres already 2 homebrew dvd players for wii, not gonna say how, or where, i dont like shady things, i wish nintendo would atleast consider it, if they claim its a game only console they shouldnt have a news rss feed, weather, the internet channel, wii message board or the photo channel, it would simplify this for me if i could just swap discs, instead of turning off the wii, going to the tv to change the input, turning on the dvd player, putting the movie in, and changing the input on my stereo
silver account does most things like patches and basic access to market place, they also do free live trial weekends if you want to try online play on any games, some games come with 24-48 hour trial passes also
i remember that there was an interview prior to the 360s launch where they explained that even though microsoft considered the first xbox a succesful entry into console gaming, most analysts either saw it as an experiment that didnt hold up or a commmercial failure because of the overall sales outside of the states, they used the name 360 to show that the new xbox was going to be a significant change, movies, music, games, the market place, live anywhere, more complex dlc, things they claim they werent able to do with the first xbox, i feel like that if they use some kind of number in the next title, it will only be to give consumers some familiarity with the features of the last console and not just oh the next xbox, but i dont think they would really do that, i did like the idea of drawing names though, fanboys would have a field day

i always seem to have issues with video 9 so i started using pspvc, i play vids in 720x480 all the time and they seem ok, the psps firmware will distort the picture under certain resolutions, its actually a feature sony threw in when they first began supporting avc on psp, think of it as animorphic widescreen, but yea i would agree with transcoding files to native resolution if you're having that much of a problem
could be gpu issue, i know i get the same problem but curiously on one game only so far, TP, SMG, MPC, NMH, and RE4 are the ones i hear people complain about artifacts and such but i have nvr had such a problem, i have scarface and i get artifacts all over the place, just not all at once or anything but its enough to bug me, ninty said it was gpu/heatsink issue
