@MAD_AI That structure already exists in some games, mainly EA with ME3's MP boxes and DS3's single player boosters.

@Imperiacommando @hector530 @emptycow The console changes are probably not going to impact nVidia, since it isn't going to be an actual loss of business they're currently running. They will see the expected trend of slowing PS3 chip money, but most of nVidia's current good fortunes are actually from mobile devices running on their Tegra chips, which is currently facing no shifts in the market.

@tmthywtsn That's not what's going on though. The new Xbox and PS4 aren't using the exact same video cards, and that detail was probably part of their separate deals. How this pans out though, does seem less heated than when it was nVidia vs ATI.
