@6orange6 @Ometh It might drive a small population to piracy. I agree with you there. On the other hand, most people do not have the knowledge or want to waste time on pirating a DRM'd game. So in reality, there is no difference because there is currently a population that downloads illegally.
People tend to forget that DRM has existed for years on PC. It was only a matter a time that it would exist on console. Guaranteed that 50 percent of the people complaining about "omg no used games hurp durp", have probably illegally downloaded a game. Gamers have nobody to blame but themselves when it comes to this issue. If this doesn't occur on this gen console, expect it to happen on the next.
Everyone has to remember how much money the american government makes off of firearms. It's going to be the same S*** over and over, and video games will always be their scapegoat.
Typical American politics. Problem arises, spend more time on finding someone to blame instead of finding a solution. That's why the same s*** always happens and will continue to happen.
