Kevin's post basically sums this whole thing up. Everyone complains about bioware selling out with the ending, and now gamers ask for bioware to sell out by changing the ending. I'm not saying that I enjoyed the ending, in fact, I thought it was a big steaming pile of ****. What do you think is going to happen if they did decide to change the ending? It's not going to be free, you can count on that. It will be in the form of a DLC and that's the worst thing that could possibly happen. Everyone is up in arms about DLC's as of late and now everyone is basically following the heard of sheep and not thinking about the aftershock of this whole matter. The fact is, people need to move on. Are we as gamers really going to start a trend of "hey, we didn't like the ending to this game rabble rabble change the ending"? I'm nothing short of embarrassed to be a part of a generation of gamers who think like this.
The issue is so unbelievably simple. Don't buy DLC's and game companies will stop making them. No company will invest time and resources into something that wont turn a profit. The crappy thing is that most people on GS understand how damaging they are. The real problem lies within the general public. They don't follow gaming news like most of us and they only see DLC's as something new and exciting, so sure they'll buy it. The worst thing is that game companies recognize this and completely take advantage of it.
@cb11082 It's overdone in all media now. You know it's bad when my gay friend, who is richard simmonds flamboyant, says the media needs to cool it with all the homosexuality. Honestly though, the worst part about ME3 was having the option to make Shepard a female. Guess bioware needs to release the "Shepards Sex Change" DLC and charge 30 bucks. Pathetic.
Trolls will be trolls and it's been in gaming forever. Bioware should have just risen above the occasion and dealt with it in a matter that doesn't make them look like a bunch of whiners. Whoever was saying that crap is obviously bats*** insane and the right thing to do would have been for bioware to brush it off their shoulders like it didn't even happen. Sometimes you need to be the mature person and just have a laugh because in reality, this is a big joke.
Whoever disliked my comment, please come forward and explain why this is a good controller. Maybe then I won't trololo at you through this computer screen.
