Nice, as long as there is a workaround. I'm honestly not in beta, I'm just really hoping it's that way. How I wish I could be in beta.

Is it possible to create a seamless transition between a platforming segment into, say, a top down navigating segment, then back to platforming again, while tying it all up as an RPG of some sort?
Anyone know if the new engine boosts the framerate in any way?
I always thought lbp would look perfect if the framerate didn't stutter so much the more you add players.
Crossing my fingers that it's even more silky smooth
[QUOTE="Omni-Gamer-"][QUOTE="Ragnarok1051"]My bad dood, trying to respond to so many diff people. Yes, Chaos Rings is a game from Square Enix. It may not have the words Final Fantasy in it, but you can sure bet it's a freakin final fantasy game. Everything from game mechanics, interface, battle system, etc, all Final Fantasy. The infamous reoccuring Cid character is in there, as is an appearance of a moogle. That doesn't make it Final Fantasy... Well whatever, this is off-topic anyhow. The point is, the iDevices have major backing from all the big developers, ranging from SEGA, all the way to EA, Epic, Rockstar etc. I don't agree with OP in saying Apple is taking over Nintendo, but I definitely do recognize that they are here to stay and is good healthy competition (hopefully Apple's rise in handheld gaming will finally beat the stubborn out of Nintendo and force them to finally catch up to the world in online connectivity and community). Why is my Chaos Rings question being ignored?

[QUOTE="Omni-Gamer-"][QUOTE="Ontain"]the problem with using your phone to play "good" games is that they will drain your battery really fast. that's not something you want to do to your phone. they are good for playing less intensive games like bejeweled though. by contrast you can play for several hours with a DS. I mean stuff like mario kart, zelda not just 2d stuff.OntainI'm not sure if you know, but the iDevices have amazing battery life. You're not understanding: There are FAR more 3D games on the iPhone/iPod now than the DS. And those 3D games can be played for up to five to six hours before having to plug in. When not playing games, the devices last up to 12 hours. i'd like to see the stats on the battery life while playing games. the not playing game time isn't useful. heck the DS can last like a week or more without playing. also according to this article http://www.pcworld.com/article/200298/iphone_4_battery_life_the_test_results_are_in.html "In this test, the iPhone 4 lasted just 2 hours and 21 minutes-capturing, manipulating, exporting and viewing 25 minutes of HD video and making 34 minutes of FaceTime calls." so basically 2 hours of full use. if i was on a trip i'd rather have a DS and save my phone charge. Check this youtube video out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6LUEgfpCgE It varies. It can go anywhere between 3 - 7 hours depending on the settings. Minimum brightness, low volume = 7 hours. Max brightness, max volume, multi-tasking music playback from a Pandora station over wireless internet = 3 hours.
What FPS on the Ipod looks better then metroid prime? let alone 3 times better.[QUOTE="toast_burner"][QUOTE="Omni-Gamer-"] Really? It could play FPS's that look 3 times better than Metroid Prime? What about Command and Conquer? How about Rage? Let's reverse your claim: Anything from Apple can play games beyond current handhelds level. Next?Omni-Gamer-
Well.. For starters... Look at Rage
Then look at Project sword
