Demon's Souls just came out exclusively for the PS3 and getting rave reviews, Dragon Age: Origins also coming out in a month's time as a multiplatform game (PS3 edition coming out a couple weeks later).

Unless DA:O manages to out-do Demon's Souls (which I personally doubt), this situation seems to be mimicking the inFAMOUS/Prototype one (where PS3 got two decent games, 360 got one). Think fanboys will take sides again and start comparing the two aggressively like the other situation?

Well, the following questions have to be asked,

* Can it be obtained via other non-Nintendo systems?

* No... then can it be obtained via other Nintendo systems?

* Not in its entirety. (since the third was never released on the GC)

For most people, it would be an AAAE, because they either never owned a Gamecube or they never owned all three titles.

Did people consider the 360 Orange Box an AAA? Because if they did, they'd be wrong accroding to the standard of this thread. TF2 scored 8.5, HL2 ep2 was never rated and Portal on the 360 was rated a 8.5... All the rest were already released like Metroid Prime.

Developers are not supposed to confirm or deny thngs like this especially if they're under NDA.

Blue-Sky

Techniqually there was no confirmation.

Anyway, gratz to PS3 owners without a high-end PC (IF it is true)... Have both myself, might think about getting PS3 if they can convince me with extra content (is the PC version currently getting modded?)... also it can play on high-end TVs when the PC version cannot.

'No, not possible because the original Mass Effect isn't on the PS3'

Bioware is putting Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 for all the former 360 players who got RROD'd.

Ethernet

* Instant streaming of video/music/etc content from my PC.

* Faster downloads and less latency for online.

* And it's right next to my PC (the HDMI cord to the TV is like 4m).

If you CAN do Ethernet, you SHOULD. Cables > All.

Everyone (esp in Japan) owns a Wii anyway, why would they need to port it?

It doesn't play itself it plays a video of how you're supposed to do something. Then it expects you to do it.OreoMilkshake

I heard that it could skip the part for you as well? That's why it is/was referred to as a 'plays itself' game.

And I don't know if I'd call it video, a scripted event yes, kind of like Cinema mode on Uncharted 2 (or Halo), videos aren't actually made it just records what happens in the game and using the game's engine plays it back.

Personally as someone who always plays hard-mode, I am extremely excited about this feature.

On a side note, I am also excited about the blood pressure thing for Survival/Horror games.

[QUOTE="Oresome"]

Nazi aliens (haven't played Killzone, but know about it, I'm guess they are the bad guys right?) from a piece of fiction wearing masks with red glowing eyes (within an icon, no less) =/= 'stereotypical' (a.k.a. the funky hair/glasses) but real African Americans

And people techniqually defining 'Creatures', all you guys are doing is ignoring all the connotations that go with the word. No matter what your beliefs, Humans are more then what the word 'creatures' implies them to be. Sure, if you want to remove ALL context behind the word, go ahead, but to do that then the word itself shouldn't exist in the first place (since English and all languages came and/or changed via the contexts of words changing).

EDIT: Also, the context of the icon itself has to be considered. Everything else a part from the evil alien are literally animals (within the imagine), and I was unable to find ANY other 'person' icon within the Creature sub-section (smiley faces don't count)... Why are not the Elves considered Creatures when African Americans are? Only thing that comes close is the clown icon (witches in many legends are considered human, more of a mythical creature), and clowns themselves are a cover and not an actual person.

Messiahbolical-

First of all, the Helghast aren't alien Nazi's.... they're British white humans from earth that were condemned to a certain planet. :| Second of all, why does it matter? Who cares. It's freaking avatars. If there was a picture of a stereotypical nerdy white guy and no black guy would you have posted this complaining? Hell no. Nobody would have. Because racism only counts when it's against black people these days. And people like you, and the guy right under you that replied saying he doesn't like it, are generally SUPPORTING racism by making a big deal about it and making it into some kind of debate. If anybody's racist, you are for making this topic. :|

How can they be British when they are Helghast? a.k.a. British accents doesn't mean they are British. (British accents are used for the purpose of the game, German accents would be FAR to obvious)

Helghast itself sounds like a german word, they launched a Blitzkrieg (via Wikipedia, I'm guess that is what they called it in the game). Saying they aren't Nazi even though there is obvious Nazi comparisons (yes, Germans losts the first world war, and hence were condemned... oh... Like the Helghast!). And they themselves are superhuman, "The planet's harsh environment forced the Helghast to adapt and mutate so much that they can no longer be considered human."

SO... There goes the Helghast argument.

Fictional Nazi non-humans who kill and murder are considered Creatures right next to REAL African Americans.

Helghast = points invalid.

Question: Do I see a nice white guy in a tie in the Creature list, or a yellow guy in a ninja suit? Hell no.

Please, your arguments are weak and pathetic. Meh, I'm willing to give Sony the benefit of the doubt if they remove it asap. So far, no convincing arguments against it have come up.
