I actually was talking about how Final Fantasy VIII sold 2.5 million it's first 4 days in Japan.

How many did Halo sale in it's first 4 days worldwide? Less than 2.5 miillion, maybe a little more, but it doesn't change the fact that FFVIII did in Japan it's first 4 days basicallly what Halo did worldwide in it's 4 days.

Halo 3 just lucked out and came at a time when movie sales were going to go down a lot anyway just becuase the movie selection was crappy. Failure for using VGchartz trying to say VGchartz is a very credible source source. Halo 3 could have sold only 2.5 in a week I was actually talking about first 4 days anyway since that was what I saw from a(credible) source.

And do you even see the point? An RPG in Japan 9 years ago sold roughly the same amount as Halo 3 in it's first 4 days in Japan it's first few days than Halo did in it's first 4 days worldwide. The whole point was that user flaunting around Halo 3's overrated hype like no game ever came close to it before. Technicalities don't really matter at this point.

Many of the sites reviewing Halo 3 were OBVIOUSLY influenced by hype(and backlash they would get) and some probably even paid off. Halo 3 is no where near the best games of all time and Halo is easily the most overrated servies of all time.

The fact that XBOX 360 is an American made console and does horrible in Japan are a couple reasons you do not usually see most top Japanese Devs putting their top games on XBOX consoles. IF you ever see a Japanese game on the XBOX 360, chances are it's a PS3 game too. Games like MGS4, Tekken, and Final Fantasy XIII will stay on the PS3 exclusively.

The XBOX 360 gets lucky with a couple japanese companies like Capcom, who are known flip-floppers. But it doesn't change that much.

They also need to understand that those are some of the major reasons why the XBOX 360 has zero chance of winning this gen.

It's not a knock on the XBOX 360, it's just facts.

PS3s 2008 list is only a list of titles that accumulated from the system having no games. More than likely FF will slip to 2009 unless you count Japan so you might as well take that off the list. So, thats the only reason why you can talk about a 2008 lineup because the system is basically barren atm. But 3 games won't give the PS3 the edge to take over, but it will only provide burst sales. Plus 3 games don't have anything on systems who already has a entire library backing it. And like I said, no one knows anything about the Wii nor 360 2008 games.

I can guarantee you this, Wii fit will sale better than anything on PS3 and its not even a game. To note I said from your perspective you think the Wii is to underpowered to compete, I wasn't saying that it isn't a fact that its graphically underpowered to the other two systems. Why do I keep mentioning the handheld war? Because both of those systems are archetypes for the the PS3 and DS. Graphics don'win the war sorry man.

Fail, nobody said that graphics win the war, but they have to be taken into consideration when the Wii is as underpowered as it is. preventing it from getting most of the great 3rd party titles the PS3 can get(Basically 99% of anything coming out on the PS3).

Fail, the handheld war has nothing to do with the Console war. Graphics have never been as important with handhelds like with Consoles. And one of the reasons it is much more important is becuase of the reason I listed above.

As it stands, Final Fantasy is an 08 game.

Gran Turismo games have outsold both Halo and Smash Bros.

Yet it doesn't matter because the Playstation brand has never been about one big game, it's been abou multiple AAA titles. MGS4, Tekken, Gran Turismo, LittleBIgPlanet, etc. which all come out in 08.

-Call of Duty 4 and Assassins Creed look better on the PS3.

-The best looking PS3 exclusive looks better than the best XBOX 360 exclusive.
