The PS3 will be at nearly 20 million by the end of next year. Probably about 17/18 million.

Do you know that MGS4 will be one of the most CGI heavy games ever? Not to mention the amount of detail put into them will be hollywood movie type quality. The opening cutscene alone has a bigger budge than most video games.

Blu-Ray is neeeded, this has already confirmed by Konami so don't post about things you don't know about.

PS3s 2008 list is only a list of titles that accumulated from the system having no games. More than likely FF will slip to 2009 unless you count Japan so you might as well take that off the list. So, thats the only reason why you can talk about a 2008 lineup because the system is basically barren atm. But 3 games won't give the PS3 the edge to take over, but it will only provide burst sales. Plus 3 games don't have anything on systems who already has a entire library backing it. And like I said, no one knows anything about the Wii nor 360 2008 games.

I can guarantee you this, Wii fit will sale better than anything on PS3 and its not even a game. To note I said from your perspective you think the Wii is to underpowered to compete, I wasn't saying that it isn't a fact that its graphically underpowered to the other two systems. Why do I keep mentioning the handheld war? Because both of those systems are archetypes for the the PS3 and DS. Graphics don'win the war sorry man.

You think it's only three games? LOL. It's not just them, it's a long list of games. And GT5, FFXIII, MGS4 are three of the most popular video game series' ever btw. so don't ever count them out like they're nothing.

Fail, nobody said that graphics win the war, but they have to be taken into consideration when the Wii is as underpowered as it is. preventing it from getting most of the great 3rd party titles the PS3 can get(Basically 99% of anything coming out on the PS3).

Fail, the handheld war has nothing to do with the Console war. Graphics have never been as important with handhelds like with Consoles. And one of the reasons it is much more important is becuase of the reason I listed above.

THe funny thing is the PS3 has outsold the 360 worldwide this year and the Playstation 3's first year is not much different for the 360's first year in sales.

LOL. The Wii is not like the PS2 or PS1.

The PS1 and PS2 were weaker than the N64/GC?XBOX, but they were powerful enough to keep up with them, and even put out games that looked better. Not to mention the PS2/PS1 had by far the best libraries.

Wii sales will slow. It's weakness internally will catch up with it, not to mention it's lineup isn't going to be strong like the PS3's next year even with a couple AAA titles(SSBB).

It will still outsell the XBOX 360, but when it's all said and done it will be behind the PS3.

How is the PS3 which stands at around 6mil consoles worldwide surpass a console that is at 14mil+. Is the Wii going to magically stop selling? People who hate the Wii has been saying its a fad since it came out and that in xxx amount of time people will realize this. But you have to take into consideration that this hasn't happen and that the Wii has been a freight train without its AAA games. People don't buy consoles for next years lineup they buy consoles for the game library it has. Even when PS3 gets next years titles its library will still pale in comparision to the Wii and 360.

And to note, PS1 and PS2 both didn't start with a good library of games. It was over time. Wii's first year looks about the same as PS2 and better than PS1.

The Fact is, the Wii's 2nd year is going to be just like it's first. It's going to have 2 or 3 killer Apps from Nintendo(SSBB, Mario Kart Wii) and mostly crappy third party titles. 3rd Party support hasn't changed much. They've gotten more 3rd party support, but devs still just see it as a way to get make cheap medicore games and profit off that.

The PS1 and PS2 still had potential for later years. They had basically all the 3rd part support in their gens. The Wii is not going to have those things. It's too underpowered and that's why most devs are still putting their big games on the PS3.

From your perspective the Wii is to underpowered compared to the competition. But take a look at the the DS vs PSP war and tell me who is the winner. Clearly the PSP techically destroys the DS, but its not close to selling as well as the DS nor does it have the game library. Why is this?
