With those specs and great games I would buy it gladlyI'm going to call a $299-349 USD base price.

I agree but if it is true I must have this handheld. It is no way nintendo is going to make a handheld that powerful. But if they do I want in badly. E3 needs to get here now.

If that above statement is true this maybe a quatum leap in handheld gaming. Look at the iphone and technology behind that so I could say with more space you could make something to that effect. Rumor or BS?

This statement is interesting
How powerful is the 3DS?
Nintendo has not revealed any specs for the 3DS system, but expect it to well surpass the Nintendo DS in visual and processor capabilities. To provide stereoscopic 3D effects the system must have the ability to render each game field twice, one for each of the player's eyes, a technique that will require significant horsepower to produce.
Several developers that have experienced 3DS in its current form have reported, off the record, that it has processing capabilities that far exceed the Nintendo Wii and bring the device with abilities that are close to HD consoles such as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
This is ancient in internet time but it still haunts me to this day

I see these things sold for mp3 players but all mp3 players have them built in. Why would someone buy this?
Sony is out of the picture because they are losing money on each console still.
Microsoft I believe makes money on each 360 but I don't know how much.
Nintendo must be making a killinig and maybe even doubling their money.
Same to assume Nintendo?
Xbox 360 is still going strong despite getting long in the tooth with being close to 5 years old now come Novemember. The ps3 is getting close to 4 years now. The wii is 4 years old come novemember also but using tech dated around 2002-2003 but despite that it's still the #1 console.
One of these companies are going to get a headstart like microsoft did and release a new console sooner or later. I don't include add-ons like Natal as such.
Who KNow's apple might want to try their luck again but: A fail console already, and 2) overcharging for everything that says apple on it may spell their doom before it even had a chance.
Could Samsung or one of the Eastern companies take a crack at releasing a console? Panasonic tried it with the 3do and failed.

I haven't been on the PSN in a while, but I do remember having a bit of an issue trying to get online with MGS4. I noticed also that after you download either a demo or theme, you have to install it. So after downloading takes a while, then you have to wait to install as well. It may have gotten better since the last time I was on, but Xbox Live does seem a lotquicker. I guess you aren't getting charged for the PSN so you really can't complain.

yes for sure Xbox live is alot quicker in my experiences, I guess you get what you pay for.
I agree. My whole house gets on average a 20 meg connection. On ps3 I always get between 3-9 no matter what ip settings I try with my router.I was looking for a different experience then my itouch but after many hours of research I have determined there is not a player that can match the itouch. When you combine features, apps, and just useablitiy all of the other players are just bland.
Sure the Cowon might sound a lil better but if your like most users who are using basic mp3's that fact is nill anyway.
I also use a premium set of Klipsch s7 headphones and admit the stock ipod headphones suck major butt.
