gaming mice and keyboards are only for personal preferance, i love high sensetivitys and couldnt find ones this sensitive elseware, and the number of buttons is great for macros and what not, but the biggest thing is comfort.
and as for laser owning optical, only in sensitivity, in tracking alot of optical mice beat out top of the line laser mice.
most versions of linux have a decent boot manager, and if you have a version of windows on another partition it should detect that.
when i put open SUSE10.3 on a second partition it worked fine as is, i power up and its the opensuse bootmanager and i select linux or windows, then i go to my vista boot manager for vista or xp.
