last night while doing my usual daily EB visit, i came across a very very very rare game, i've been watching out for, for about 3  years now :)

GUILTY GEAR X2!!!!
this game has the best rockin' soundtrack and some of the smoothest 2D animations you'll ever see. I'll be spending the weekend playing this game non-stop lol. I've been playing FFXII for about 105 hours now and i could use a break from it lol :P

anyways, g2g get ready for class...ummmm i might make a video blog tonight about Wild Arms 4, Xenosaga 3 and FFXII if i'm bored enough.

Halloween is just around the corner, i don't have a costume yet but i'm usually pretty good at improvising at the last minute.
getting some new 3d programs to fiddle with :twisted: as well as progams for photo editing and video editing :D:D:D

My professor from my other course said he needs ppl to help him with a movie he's been aching to make for quite some time now and if i show him stuff i've done so far since graduating (in june) he will hire me :) so for that reason i need those new programs in case i get the job!

There's also this reallly cute girl in my class i like a lot, we have a lot in common too so i hope that goes good and by this time next month we could be dating :P

homework is starting to get a bit less intense so we can study for tests :P 2 major tests next week. One on monday and one on wednesday i think. TTTHEN i get to go to "top secret" places and read their "top secret" law books and files :P

Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, so far i have been super swamped with homework (naturally *sigh*), mostly research stuff so it's not anything toooo hard yet. I've been sick for the passed week, just starting to get over a nasty mutated cold but i think i'm catching the flu from a friend cuz i let her lay down on top of me (NOT IN THAT WAY!!!) i was laying down on a couch, and she told me to move, i said no so she just plopped herself on top of me :P girls are so bossy sometimes lol >_>. I'm thinking of getting a membership thingy at the college gym, t'would be a good way to spend time during breaks. I passed by my old animation class and my ex-professor said he's gonna be putting his movie idea into notion and he'd like to start looking for animators to hire and said if i want to help him, he'll offer me a spot (woohoo) i dunno if i can because of homework (BOOOO) but i might anyways (YAY) his movie idea is pretty cool, if done correctly it can have a pretty original style to it overall :) and it's a horror'ish movie to boot, so that's motivating me to actually take the offer. The college video game club is gonna have a little fight night round 3 tourny in the cafeteria next week :P winner gets $100, i'm gonna enter because i played the hell out of that game last year so i think i can win :)

OOOOHHHHhhh i finally get to play dragonquest 8!!! this weekend is a 4 day weekend for me so i'm taking fri-sat-sun to grind into DQ8 and spending monday for homework :P about time, i've been aching to play it since i bought it 2 weeks ago. is it possible to beat that game in 3 days without having to sell my soul to a gameshark?


*sigh*i should get a webcam and do video blogs lol, that way i can video blog while in class hahaha that'd be sweet!

- guild wars: factions (i HATE this game now..hate hate hate, but i have to at least try and finish the storyline stuff)

- Vagrant story (gameplay was ok, story was getting good..just stopped playing for no reason :( )

- Lineage 2 ( i HAVE to fight that big *****er in the trailer for chonicle 5, life will not be complete if i don't lol)

-all other games in my "now playing" list (meh, i'll get around to it :) )

well, all the FFXIII "updates" are stuff i've already seen months ago on other sites, so BOOOOO to that :( but i like that new screenshot of seph (even though i still think he's a pansy ass) from CC: FFVII, pending on the gameplay i might buy it but that means i need a PSP too haha

there's gonna be a FFVII: AC: Complete coming out too!!! there's apparantly a change in the scene where seph stabs cloud, in this new scene Seph is seen picking up cloud instead of cloud taking the sword out himself...does this mean that the final battle will be longer? *crosses fingers*

the DMC4 stuff kicks ass, apparantly it plays a lot like DMC3 which is pretty cool i guess, hopefully if they have fighting styles again they let you switch fighting style mid-combat like you can do with the weapons. that'd be hella sweet :)

I like the MGS4 stuff too, the screens look pretty cool, almost looks like CGI,if they can make some of the textures on Snake not pull and distort when he makes certain movements then it'd look exactly like CGI.

i'm hoping to see some insightful Kingdom Hearts 3 stuff, and hopefully *this is a long shot* some new xenosaga stuff *like i said, it's a long shot* i'm also praying that Berserk for the PS2 makes it overseas soon, that game looks way better than all the DMCs, God of Wars etc. but thats probably just my Berserk fanboyism talking ^_^

the biggest thing that amazes me is the new videos for DBZ: Tenkaichi Budokai 2, mainly because in the DBZ: TB you couldn't transform while fighting but in this one you can WOOOOHOOO so i'll definately pick that game up as soon as i can.

on a side note: i played the FFXII demo that came with DragonQuest VIII, at first i though it was a tad awkward to control and stuff but it plays like a turn based game (meaning you choose your attacks like any other ff game) but the..umm.."format" is different and feels like a mmorpg, once i got used to switching characters and choosing attacks and stuff it started to feel like i wasn't playing alone lol. I can see myself being seriously addicted to the gameplay when it comes out in a few weeks :)

well today i seen DragonQuest VIII for $30 and decided "well it comes with a FFXII demo..so what the hell, i'll buy it" and i got the strategy guide too, so thats $60 right there, and earlier i bought a bunch of snacks for class which amounted to about $25 :P the money i spent on DQ8 was supposed to be for King of Fighters 2006 :(

In terms of impulsive buying, it gets worse. A few years back i seen a sword set for $200 and bought it, i have some throwing knives too ($22), plan on getting throwing axes ($20), Nakote claws ($30) and 2 sickles ($150) yes i'm a little crazy lol >_>

Oddly enough is that i bought xenosaga episode 1 by impulse too, what an investment that turned out to be :)

anywho, i have some homework to do ( law stuff and political science stuff) then i'm gonna go play xenogears :P i'm too lazy to reconnect the ps2 so DQ8 is gonna have to wait a month or so haha

i was just fighting Erde Kaiser Σ in Xenosaga 3 without using the other 3 Erde Kaisers to destroy his shield... it took me about an hour to bring him down to 75% HP because i had to keep switching characters :P I kinda screwed myself over with distributing ether skills and left very few people with elemental ethers, therefore had to switch characters every 3-4 rounds :( some party member had the appropriate elemental ether to attack with, but not good Ether Attack so it did like 400dmg lol. His normal attacks would kill my healers, but Ziggy could absorb physical damage so i left him to do Break moves and if EKΣ countered/revenged then it'd heal ziggy so it's all good. BUT, EKΣ has this one move where he attacks everyone with fire damage...ya it did 7000+ to each party member, Ziggy BARELY survives that move :( anywho, fast forward about another hour later and he's whittled down to about 60% HP, now i think i'm starting to piss him off because he's countering me more often and i hate that :evil: finally, after about a total of a little over 2 hours, he beats me :)

now that i think about it, the LONGEST boss fight i've ever been in was wayyyyyyyy back in FFX, i was bored and decided to take on Nemesis without Break HP/MP/Damage Limit and without using Aeons :) that fight was pretty much 6 hours long haha but hey, i won!

And seeing some of the dungeons in xenosaga 3 makes me feel like playing star ocean 3 :P so i'm off to try and kill Lenneth..again... the little bastard is hard to kill lol
