I think Sony will be finding much more support for this handheld than the predeccesor, thus Im sure there will be a better game library than last gen

NGP spports Unreal Engine 3. Seeing that loads of developers use that, you can rest assured that NGP will get lots of support :)

That was exactly my line of thinking. The Unreal Engine 3 has probabaly been THE most used engine this generation on home consoles.

If developers want to make games for the 3DS, they have to license/create a whole new engine for it. Plus, they have to re-train their employees on how to use the new engine. On the other other hand, if they want to make an NGP game, they can use their exisiting engines and development tools, without having to retrain staff. If that does not prove that NGP will have lots of dev support, I don't know what will :P

So, a 250$ NGP, how do you feel about this price.

Don't care.

If it turns out to be like the PSP, and doesn't have a game library worth buying a $250 system for, then it's a rip off.

I agree with him. Imagine if Bioshock had PS1 graphics. It would feel less immersive, less atmospheric, and feel like a totally different game. I bet most of the people who say "Graphics don't matter" are the same people who who want FF7 to be remade on PS3 :P

I am tech-savvy and love building custom PCs. I prefer consoles fot the following reasons: 1) Motion sensing. I love the PS Move and Kinect, so I prefer consoles primarily for that reason. If motion sensing never existed, I would be a 90% PC gamer. 2) I prefer playing in front of my TV while sitting on my bed, rather than a desk with chair. Yes, I know you can connect your PC to a TV, but I won't bother that much just to play games. I use my PC for work, so I don't want to connect it to my TV and vice versa when I switch from work to games. On top of that, keyboard and mouse feels clumsy on a bed 3) Most of my real-life friend play online on consoles rather than PC.

All because his ****ty game hit the jackpot and the guy now thinks he knows the future.

GreenGoblin2099
True. I hate it when people stand on mountains just because they made something popular. All this guy did was make a Flash game for iOS, now he thinks hes on top of the world.

[QUOTE="PandaBear86"]EA = the most annoying publisher. Playing Dragon Age for the first time on PS3 was annoying, since you need to create an EA account to download the limited edition content (seperate from PSN account), verify a bunch of codes, and so forth. Oh, and the long load times for logging into EA's servers before the game starts. As for most evil publisher, Activision is the most evil.TheEpicGoat

How is activision the most evil?

CoD map packs are overpriced, they killed Guitar Hero because it failed to make 10 billion dollars within 5 seconds, they cannot innovate new ideas despite having loads of money in the bank.

By "broader audience", they want to sell DS3 to the mothers that hated DS2. The marketing slogan for this game is "your mother loves Dead Space 3" :P

He has no NO idea what he is talking about. He hardly even understands the fact there are different markets for games. Jesus how do these people get so far in life with comments like that. So a 5Min stupid block game is going to keep me satisfied more than the Latest Witcher game. Give me a break i mean really what a Tool.

Vinegar_Strokes

i know. these developer actually trying to make out they now anything about the games industry, its shamefull. its been proven time and time again if you real want an informed opinion on anything, then a poster on some internet forum is by far the most credible source.

Remember when Bill gates said nobody would ever need more than 640 kilobytes of RAM for their computers? People say ridiculous things regardless of what positions they are in. Just because Rovio made a succesful game doesn't make their opinion any more valuable. Are you honestly saying that anything they say is completely? Rovio's staff are mainly young people in their 20's or 30's, they are bedroom programmers, as if they know the industry like the back of their hands like Nintendo's CEO.

Sounds like he is just bragging.

AmayaPapaya
True. He makes succesful mobile game, and now suddenly he's on top of the world, beating his chest and declaring game consoles are dead. I bet he wouldn't be saying that if Angry Birds was unpopular (just like 99% of all iPhone games out there)
