The Playstation Move is being released in Australia on September 16 (it will still be September 15 over the in the US due to timezones), so I will finally have the controller in my hand soon enough (yes I pre-oredered it!), I will finally be able to test if it indeed the "Wiimote killer" that it promises to be. I saw all of the video previews and thought "wow, this looks cool", so I can't wait to try it out! :)

I will let yous all know about my thoughts on the device after playing around with it for a while. I remember having all those debates in the past saying that the Move is better than Wiimote, and everybody was like "You have never used a PS Move before, so you cannot tell if it is better"... well I WILL have the controller in my hand soon, so that old argument can disappear.

I loved the Wiimote, but PS Move looks more accurate and responsive to me. I am very happy I will get to play the PS Move before it even launches in the US, thanks Sony for being nice to us Aussies ;)

If theres anything you would like to to test or examine about the controller, just let me know.

I realize it's important to have a game look nice; but get real. Gameplay is way more important than graphics. Calvin079

Gameplay and graphics do not cancel eachother out. You can have both at the same time (look at Crysis for example). Why not take the best of both worlds?

At first I thought they were bullshots, but the resolution of the pics are 400x240, which is the correct resolution on the 3DS touchscreen. All I can say is... nice :)

I would either play windowed or check in the screen settings, there must be something in there to do just that.masterdrat
Some games such as Diablo 2 don't have widescreen support :(

Hi there,

I have been interested in playing some older games such as Diablo 2 on my PC, but I get annoyed by how the game's picture stretches out to fit my widescreen monitor. Its really annoying because it distorts the image. I want to buy some old games from Steam as well, but since older games do not have support for widescreen, it turns me off... is there a way I can stop the screen from stretching and simply add some black bars around the sides instead? have Windows Vista and nVidia graphics card. I have been trying to search for some options to do this but can't find anything... any suggestions?

Thanks in advance :)

Half a million pre-orders in UK alone? If other countries have high pre-rders like that, then Kinect will DEFINATELY rival the Wii big-time. Wow, nice MS :)

Nintendo is a company that caters to casuals and people who don't play many games, so imagine what their achievements would be like? Their first party titles will have really easy achievements :)

Sony excels in hardware. They are a company with a history in making great hardware Walkman, Bravia TVs, etc) Micrsoft excels in software. They are a company with a history in making great software (Windows 95, Windows 7, Office 2007, etc) Thats just the way it is. This explains why MS is better when it comes to software support (easier to make games for 360) and online gameplay. Sony on the other hand is better at hardware (look how reliable PS3 hardware is compared to 36). Hopefully they both learn from eachothers strengths and weaknesses :)

[QUOTE="PandaBear86"][QUOTE="Deathtransit"] He meant move-specific, and makes a good point.bobcheeseball

How can he have a point when he hasn't even PLAYEd a Move game or touched the Move controller? By that logic, I can say that Ferrari F50 cars are very slow and trashy too, right? I have never driven a Ferrari F50 before, but hey, I guess you can't disprove me, right :|

I can admit I haven't played Move required titles. But seeing a gritty and dark Wii boxing clone cleverly named "The Fight" being priced at $50 isn't exactly encouraging me. Nor is "The Shoot". The only game that really has any sort of potential is Sorcery which even then looked a bit underwhelming.

In all fairness actually I forgot that Dead Space Extraction would be ported over that I know is also a quality game.

I played that Dead Space game on Wii, and yeah it pretty good. I'd like to see the game on the Move. HD graphics + (theorectically*) more accurate and response controls = win I say the word "theoretically" to avoid any arguments against my cleam. But from what I have seen in PS Move videos, I think it is indeed better :)
