[QUOTE="JAB991"][QUOTE="DazedDarkness"] Will people stop calling that thing an iTouch, it's called the iPod Touch, official name, nowhere is the thing called an iTouch, not even on the packaging. I hate that name, hipsters made that up. DazedDarkness
I'll stop saying "iTouch" when people stop saying "Wiimote."

I'll do that for you bro, I don't say Wiimote. I don't know why that bugs me. It's a colloquialism, and I hate it. The thing is trademarked as iPod Touch, I hope apple doesn't cave in and end up naming it "iTouch". I get real a(i don't think can say that here, even in the non sexual context) over stuff like that.

I use a Wiimote to control my iTouch. I like to make calls on my i3GS, while playing on my X360 using a Wiimote..... have I driven you mad yet? :P

So, basically, you are saying that people who have 3Dot Heroes or LBP will not want to play SMG, SMG2 or NSMBWii, and Zelda TP...really?

I have LBP and I don't care about Mario anymore. I havent touched my Wii in 8 months. And I never liked Zelda much in the first place. Zelda TP bored me out.

His statement was asking about all people? Seeing has how those games sell better I guess though the question should have been reversed. Then you also have the fact the 3Dot Heroes is a Zelda like game. Which based on your statement of not liking Zelda I am guessing you would not like 3Dot Heroes either. Even though I don't understand why you played TP if you don't like Zelda.

I never played 3D Dot Heroes., its not even released in my country. I have seen previews and some review on Kotaku and it looked decent enough to me. The main reason why I didn'y like Zelda was because the puzzles weren't too exciting for me.

Not quite the StarFox announcement I was hoping for...

I don't think Nintendo will make a StarFox game for Wii anytime soon. unless its "StarFox Sports" or some kind of "StarFox Fitness" game that uses the Wii balance board. :P

You're truly delusional and need to get your knowledge up on gaming. Google or Wikipedia "Mario Party" which this is, just replaced with Mii's instead of Mario characters. That Zarbon pic really fits you, *smh*. You threads and post really lead me to believe that you started gaming in the PS2 era, or you're just a high level having troll.

I have been gaming since the NES era, but I have mostly been a PC gamer (I was 80% PC gamer, 20% console gamer). I only started focusing on consoles for the last 2 years. My Zarbon pic is from him still transforming back into his natural form. I thought it was funny to use this pic.

If I were to state that PS3 or 360 had better games library than the Wii due to games like Dragon Age, Fallout 3, Dante's Inferno, etc, you would see Nintendo fans say things like "but we have Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc". But hang on a second, since when did Mario ever compete against Dragon Age or Fallout 3? Don't you think they are completely different games for seperate audiences? You can't replace Dragon Age with Mario Galaxy. It appears that the Wii has almost nothing to counter Dragon Age.

Now lets look at things the other way around. Does Sony have games to counter Nintendo games? Yes they do! Sony has games like ModNation Racers to compete with Mario Kart, 3D-Dot Heroes to compete against Zelda, and Little Big Planet to compete against Mario platformers, and so on. You can enjoy Nintendo-like games on a Sony console, but you can't play Sony-like games on a Nintendo console. Talk about getting the best of both worlds :)

So Wii owners, lets see what kind of games you would use to compensate for the lack of Dragon Age, Fallout 3, God of War, and others?

Eh, I see someone is mad at my post in the other thread. How you're a level 28 puzzles me.

I was never mad about your post in another thread. I didn't even respond to you in the other thread yet :|

[QUOTE="PandaBear86"] There are 71 million Wii owners out there. What if some of them want to play a game similar to Dragon Age, but couldn't because their PC isn't good enough to run it, and they did not have a PS3 or 360? Would you tell them "Don't worry about Dragon Age, I'm sure that Wii Sports Resort will satisfy your desire to battle demons and defeat the Darkspawn" :|musicalmac
If they wanted that sort of game, they wouldn't have purchased a Wii. Besides, you killed your own thread. There are 71 million Wiis out there today. Clearly Nintendo did something right. Your thread is flawed.

My thread was never about "who had most sales". It was about "what does Nintendo have to compete with Dragon Age or Fallout 3"? I understand that the Wii has the most sales, but that was never the purpose of this thread. The only reason why I am talking about sales is to remind you that if a console has 71 million players, then there will cetainly be some variety between them. Some Wii owners don't care about Dragon Age. Other Wii owners would absolutely love it and probably wish it was on the Wii.

Considering that I'm not interested in any of those games, does it have to?

The Wii does not need those kinds of games because YOU don't like them? I forgot that you are the only Wii owner in the world. I was thinking there were 71 million Wii owners out there with different interests in video games (myself included).

That's why we have many consoles to pick from. Every console can't offer everything it's competition has.

Sony offers everything that Nintendo has. They have PS Move controller which is technically more advanced that the Wiimote, they have games that are similar to Nintendo games (Mario Kart vs ModNation racers, Mario vs LittleBig Planet, etc). There isn't anything that Nintendo has that Sony canot offer. Even if there is, it won't be long before Sony WILL copy it ;)

How are you defining "casual" gamers?musicalmac
1) People who don't care about graphics, online, Blu-ray or other "unnecessary" features 2) People who only enjoy about accesible games that are pick-up-and-play 3) People who don't like mature games at all, yet buy any game with the word "Mario" on the cover. Thats all I can think of at the moment.
