That's odd, my gamestop and bestbuy are filled with PS3's while X360's and Wii's are sold outIIRS3II_H1TMANMost boxes are display boxes. If you ask for a console, they normally go into the back storeroom, not off the public shelf everyone walks apst.
What was wrong with MK3? I absolutely loved that game on my SNES :| (I havent played MK2 before, so forgive my ignorance)Mortal kombat died for me after mk2.

I don't think many people care that it's more precise than a Wiimote with WMP. I think people are mad at how shameless of a creation Move is.
This!
I have nothing against Sony and love my PS3. But the move can suck it. I will take my Wiimote and Wii Motion Plus ove the Playstation "Wiive" any day of the week. Sorry man. Wii did it first. And Wii will do it better.
Being first does not mean it will be better. When it comes to technology, the person who does it LAST does it the best, because they can improve upon the weaknesses of the previous device. By your logic, I guess the Magnavox Oddyesey is the best console on Earth because it was the first one to exist. And Pong is the best video game on Earth.[QUOTE="PandaBear86"]
From a technical standpoint, the PS Move is far more advanced than the Wiimote. The PS Eye camera can detect the position and distance of the glowing light, while the Move's internal sensors assist with tilt detection and boosting overall accuracy. The Wiimote on the other hand has a hard time telling how far you are from the TV (unless you have MotionPlus), so it would be laughable to suggest the Move is inferior. The Move is being released four years after the Wiimote, so of course it would have to be better. Sony would be stupid if they cannot out-perform a controller technology from 2006, so of course they can do a better job with four years of improvements.
Websites like Joystiq and Gizmodo have actually used the PS Move in HANDS-ON tech demos during GDC recently, and they have openly stated that the PS Move was better and more accurate than the Wiimote. They said that the controller was smarter, more accurate, and was simply more fleshed-out than the Wiimote... even with MotionPlus! Check out more info about Move here:

Thats right Wii owners, you can stay safe behind the whole "you cannot say the PS Move is better because you havent used it yet", but all current *hands-on* reviews of the Move controllers indicate that the Wiimote is far inferior. Can't wait for the Move to be released. Thats when PS3 owners have better graphics, better online, hard drives, Blu-ray, AND superior motion controllers. What advantages will the Wii have left apart from Mario Party or the next Zelda re-hash game?
In the end, it won't matter if the technology is superior if the Move is poorly supported or is viewed as an afterthought by PS3 owners. If there aren't enough good games that support the Move to justify purchasing it, then its wasted effort on Sony's part.
There are 36 third party companies supporting the Move, such as EA, Capcom, Square Enix, Ubisoft, THQ, Activision, Tecmo, Konami, and many more. From a technical standpoint, the PS Move is far more advanced than the Wiimote. [QUOTE="PandaBear86"]LBP is just ONE game from Sony that lacks a storyline. Its okay if just a small portion of your games lack a storyline IMO. But with Nintendo, pretty much all games lack a storyline. Mario, Zelda, Metriod, all those games have weak storylines.musicalmacWhy do you think Zelda has a weak storyline? By your logic Metroid is exempt, because it's all about exploration, and discovery. That's better than most poorly told stories, honestly. Mario is all about platforming gameplay. Why did you choose to exclude 3rd party games from your "weak storyline" point? Storyline in LBP would be too unusual. Just a sackboy running around in a crazy world, having a beefy story just wouldn't make much sense, But just to accept the criticism, I agree that LBP could use a better storyline and Sony/ Media Molecule did a lazy job hadling the story. But LBP is just one game, the next game in the series may have a good storyline. But do you think Mario will ever get a better storyline apart from "rescue the priness". Don't bet on it :)
[QUOTE="PandaBear86"]Yes, I understand that. But, just because you have a strong storyline doesn't mean the gameplay has to be compromised in any way. I can name many games with great storylines and great gameplay. I wouldn't even know where to begin :DmusicalmacSo why is LBP exempt from this? Seems like a double standard. [QUOTE="PandaBear86"]LBP was about customisation, so focusing on a core storyline wouldn't suit it. But look at Sony's other games like Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, as well as their old PS1 games like Spyro the Dragon. They had decent stories, much better than just recuing the princess :)musicalmacMario games were all about the gameplay. See? Yes, I understand that. [QUOTE="PandaBear86"]It might not need a strong story, but I'm sure a multi-billion dollar company can do a better job than just "rescue the princess". Even my 9-year old niece can come up with something better than that.musicalmac
For real. Little Big Planet's story was out of this world.
Oh wait.
