E3 is coming really soon, and many people are hoping that the PSP2 will be revealed to counter against the Nintendo 3DS and improve upon the existing PSP. Of course, we don't know if it will be revealed this year or next year, but please bear with me for a minute and just assume it will be this year's E3. So, what are your expecations for the PSP2, here are some things to consider:
1) Do you want the PSP2 to have a slide-screen like the PSP Go, or do you want it to have a simple "candybar" shape like the PSP-3000? Or maybe even a clamshell design like the Nintendo DS (screen is protected) What kind of screen size do you want from it?
2) The PSP2 will likely have two analog sticks, and maybe they will even become clickable. But is there anything else you would like to see from it? Maybe an accelerometer (Sixaxis), touchscreen or vibration etc?
3) Do you want the PSP2 to have an improved version of the UMD drivethat is compatible with current UMDs, or do you want a completely new type of storage space (example: cartridges like the DS)? UMD is considered bad because it is large, chews up lots of electrity, long load times, and the drive is somewhat expensive to make. The PSP2 could have some new media to make things faster, cheaper, smaller, and consume less power from the battery, but the downside is that your current UMDs will not work on it (although PSP Go owners have nothing to worry about).
4) Do you want the PSP2 to have trophy support?
Feel free to post your thoughts and expectations for the PSP2 :)
[QUOTE="PandaBear86"][QUOTE="LastRambo341"]But wait, I thought "motion controls are a gimmick and they suck" according to Ps3 owners that hate the Wii. I sense some hypocrisy.LastRambo341I love motion controllers. I bought a Wii because of the Wiimote. So I am happy that PS3 is getting the Move, because I want motion sensing and HD graphics at the same time :D Ya,.....rrrrright ;) People sure change quickly when their company makes a move. Its not like I'll care about Hd when the next Nintendo console comes out because I don't. Thats okay. I have a Wii, but hardly played it recently. I have a 40" HDTV in my living oom and 26" HDTV in my bedroom. The Wii looks okay my 26" TV, but on the 40" TV it looks too pixelated, so I don't like it there. Graphics are important for me, but I understand that it doesn't matter for most people :)
[QUOTE="PandaBear86"][QUOTE="LastRambo341"]Lol, talk when the MOVE gets released. Hands-on previews don't help.LastRambo341If the Move gets released, and I own the controllers, the next argument will be "just because you have the Move doens't mean its superior". Theres no convincing Nintendo fans. The Move could have the ability to cure cancer and people will still claims its inferior to the Wiimote :P Oh we'll see, and read my 2nd post ;) I read it and responded. I love motion controllers, I am just excited that the PS3 will let me play with motion controllers and see HD graphics at the same time. Sorry if my thread is too fanboyish ;)

Sony excels in game design. Ever heard of Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, God of War, etc? Yeah, some of the people who made those games will be working on the Move as well. Sony even rivcals Nintendo when it comes to games design. what's it like working for Sony? Its so awesome.[QUOTE="PandaBear86"] They are improvements, not replicants ;)clone01no, actually they're not. I love how people criticise me because I havent used PS Move before, but other people are allowed to say the PS Move is inferior even though THEY have not used the PS Move either. Why the double standard? So tell me, how did you know that the PS Move is inferior? How many hours have you spent on it?

I don't think many people care that it's more precise than a Wiimote with WMP. I think people are mad at how shameless of a creation Move is.
This!
I have nothing against Sony and love my PS3. But the move can suck it. I will take my Wiimote and Wii Motion Plus ove the Playstation "Wiive" any day of the week. Sorry man. Wii did it first. And Wii will do it better.
yep, i agree. both natal and move are shameless replicants. They are improvements, not replicants ;)
