Once it's made by treyarch its NOT a "Modern Warfare" game.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha... sigh... okay I think I'm done... nope! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha If you want a game that makes it easier for you the first time you beat it, check out RE4, RE5, God of War 3, Dead Space 1 and 2... but god that line about Demon's Souls... might have to copy that and put it in my sig[QUOTE="epichotcheese"]
Demon Soul's new game+ sucks, it's even harder when you die. It doesn't make it easier at all.

I was lmao too when I read it. ahahahaha it says a lot about Demon's Souls doesn't it. But I don't fault him though, I miss games like those of last gen when I could run around in god mode with unlimited auto fire rocket launchers after I beat the game for extra value and fun factor. And yes Resident Evil 4 & 5 do allow that, havent beat dead space yet. I miss cheat codes too, many will argue thats not how the games were meant to be played but if that's the case why would the devs put them in. It's there for you to put a different spin on things and have fun.
God of War 1, Chains of Olympus, Ghost of Sparta, God of War 2, God of War 3 on "Hero" or medium then play again on HARD ... and once more on EASY for good measure. Then go back and study Greek mythology for 6 months, then play them again on Medium and then you will believe you are Kratos reincarnated. Just don't go all crazy ...

wth.... have you been watching me?
I can say I really enjoyed hunting them in GTA Vice City and San Andreas, you'd find the items in some bizarre places like on top of a pyramid. And to have something new spawn at my garage for every 10 items felt really rewarding. In the end I got Harriers or Apache's spawning for me so great incentive to go all the way.
It's just that for most games I've played this gen, I have rarely seen where a nice in game reward would come of it.
In the US the pricing standard is $60 for a retail box game. No PSN game game has ever been listed for more than that.
I have noticed that pricing for games in the UK is all over the place. I looked on amazon.co.uk and some new games are at 54 some are at 35, those same games that would be $60 msrp here in the US. So I'm not sure what to think about the price you saw for Driver, I don't know what the standard msrp is over there.
Like finding hidden packages in GTA. Feathers in Assassins Creed and the like. Find 100 of something randomly scattered around the city.
When trophies/achievements weren't figured in, I actually used to feel rewarded for it in most games I played. It would unlock some game feature or add something somewhere that I didn't have before. But in recent games there seems to be no reason to go for them other than to get that trophy. Assassin's Creed 2 gave some new cape or something, game changing... and as I'm going through finding all the gold film reels for LA Noire I'm thinking to myself I'm going to get nothing after all this, it's just that it is the only trophy I need for a platinum and I can practically warp to the locations. Same for AC2 but I just couldn't bother.
Does anybody actually find searching for these things fun? Or are they just something tedious to stretch the game life?
I'd still say play God of War 1 first. Cause if you play the Origins collection first and then you play 1 you will feel they are 'introducing' Kratos to you when you've already learned about who he is now from the other two games. Do GOW1 1st, then Origins Collection, then back to 2 then 3.

We finally get a good update on the Playstation Store in Europe and it's down before we can access it.
bronze_earth
Pardon my numbnutness but what "good update" are you referring to?
Store update, maybe a fan of Resident evil but I'm not certain what got released on the EU store. I know I for one got Resident Evil 1-3 for free last night. Anyway I checked the PS website, they said they are down for unscheduled maintenance, and not certain when they'll be back up. If you go to the forums its a notice banner at the top.I dont have any problem with them, they are extremely easy to tune out so I hardly hear them to begin with and I have my volume loud enough during the games for my neighbours to hear.
I don't see why they should be banned, especially if many of the travelling fans are also buying them and blowing them at the games.
