*sigh* websites could get rid of this fanboyism problem by easily removing the top and side cover showing PS3/360, and just showing the box cover. but noo, they just gotta choose one platform, so fanboys can storm right on in, give the site more pageviews, and have them go rant on the forms about a top secret conspiracy to destroy the other console *sigh*KukicAdo

lol

GaMe$pot loves conspiracy theorists and fanboys wars. Why do you think this section was made?

[QUOTE="hot114"]

Do you completely FAIL at reading?!? That a game is re-released with extra content does not make a game a beta THAT THE GAME HAS UN-IMPLEMENTED DATA ON THE DISC thats witheld for the PS3 release makes it a beta. you are not given the full experience despite most of it already having been in the works during the 360's development and on the disc but unplayable!

How would you describe a game ridden with placeholders for a future release?

If i buy a FPS game and discover 7 unused weapon skins, 3 unusable multiplayer maps and 6 unused character models in the game files only to hear a future release for a entirely diverent console will have all these unlocked then yeah damn straight im gona call it a beta!

delta3074

do you fail at cmmon sense, a BETA is an incomplete game, despite not having the extra content, ToV 360 to all intents is a complete game, here, why don't you read this and actually learn something http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle#Beta

lol well according to the pictures presented here it seems the 360 version was in fact an incomplete game and was therefore a beta

Can the two co-op in the same time period? Yes, but not at the same age. Big Boss is a normal human, so he ages normally, which means that he would only be young within the 19602 and 70s. However, this debunks the theory in one major way:

At the end of Solid Snake, Big Boss was taken by the Patriots and held in a suspended state. It wasn't until Snake destroyed the Patriots AI that Big Boss (with parts taken from Liquid and Solidus) was awakened from his nano-coma. Hence forth, Raiden would have never come in contact with a 'living' Big Boss between Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4.

Sadly, Kojima can twist what you believe any way he wants to and somehow link a new turn of events to "what really happened". Don't count anything out, not with Kojima.

Big Boss has so many clones tho, how can we even know if that is the original Big Boss? Who says its a 'real' image it could be a rendition for Raiden's training as I heard someone speculate before. Maybe Big Boss was using something to suppress the effects of aging up until just before MGS4? We don't know enough right now, and given the Metal Gear storyline there are still endless possibilities.

I wouldn't rule out Raiden just yet. Here's a scan from Famitsu. BladeOfHeaven

Can somebody who can read japanese please translate all that is readable in the picture please?

And yes I'm glad it is what I felt it was. Can't be another portable ops, dont think they'll put this much hype into PO. But now I'm seeing E, e, 5/S, 3, P, R, and Big Boss. The R and P are new, what do they mean?

its version 2.42. and you only have to do one update to get to 2.42 from whichever version you previously had. He's talking about the PAIN updates which does each one of them after the other if you're connected to the PSN.

You can use a external hard drive or something to back up your system data and then restore them to the new hard drive. The drive u use to back up has to be in FAT32 format. USB drives arent really recommended unless you have less then 4GB of data backing up.
