Yahtzee makes his conclusions based soley on singleplayer... Multiplayer had always been the staple for both series. While Gears single Player is very good, Resistance's is better.. However Gears 3's Multiplayer absolutely OBLITERATES resistance 3's multiplayer, because resistance 3's mutliplayer is absolute garbage that they put absolutely no effort in. Most phoned in thing ever.. Sure Resistance 2's had a lot of issues, but at the very least it was ambitious and creative where as this one is just a COD knock off with some resistance ****perks and that is it. Not to mention its horrible lag and bad maps.

Gears 3's multiplayer is so good I honestly think it is the best shooter on the system. It is the complete package because it's single player is awesome as well with really big environments, friendly A.I that is actually useful, a somewhat engaging story, good level design, with 4 player co-op as well, and the Horde mode has made AWESOME tower defense like additions, beast mode is tons of fun as well, awesome maps, balanced weapons, I could go on and on, but Gears 3 destorys resistance 3 in almost every way except for resistance having the SLIGHTLY better singleplayer.

VendettaRed07

THIS IS SW. Your opinion is wrong, Gears has better SP and MP and Yahtzee can throw his dice down the toilet because after that he ain't reviewing games no mo. lol. Yahtze is a dice game.

IIRC they called it the 360 because of the ring around the on button.

FashionFreak

They called it 360 because HD gaming was a revolution. 360 = revolution

They called it 360 because t had all of your media needs. Games, Movies, Entertainment, Sales, Music.

*laughs*

tray drives are cheaper, more tried and tested but I guess the fact PC's still use them mean nothing...I cant even continue so many things that are out of whack about the only thing accurate is bluray.

WilliamRLBaker

Plus, if My console stops working, How am I going to get the CD out with no Disk Tray to pull open?

Find the last 2 missing games I don't have for the CD-i. 7.Find the last 19 missing games (that are playable) I don't have for the PC-FX. 8. Missing 3 32X games. 9.Missing 7 Lynx games. 10. Somehow get a Hyper Neo-Geo Arcade cabinent.

So anyway to the point. I have played Rayman many times for may years. The first times I played Band Land annoyed the living crap out of me and took many of my lives and coninues making getting through the Blue mountains a pain in the ass. Years later and with a Memeory Card instead of using the god forsaken passwords. it made things a bit easier because I could just reload from save and I got better at tosme parts of the game that were not riddled with collision problems.

Then I made it through the Blue Mountains up to the part where you have to use your helicopter hair to cut the rope and restarting the game 5 more times because of it. Years later once again It was time to beat Rayman, I made it to the art land, Beat Viking Space Mama, and got all the way to the last stage of this god forsaken pencil killing world only to realize the real from of Space mama and the stages before it are so STUPIDLY DESIGNED TO MAKE YOU PISSED OFF, not to mention the boss fight with Space Mama was ridicoulous (Unless you played the GBA version).

Finally, I beat her years later, got through the cave, beat the damn scorpion. and waited for the path to get to Mr.Dark. Now the Icon of his level is visible, and no path opened and I was wondering "what the hell?" and realized I beat every level and realized there was only one thing I did not do. GET EVERY SINGLE **** CAGE IN EVERY **** LEVEL IN THE **** GAME.

So years later I finally went through this irritating game a SECNOD **** TIME getting all the lectoons, got to the Ice cream/candy land, found Mr.Dark, beat him, and finally beat Rayman. No cheats.

So basically I am asking you guys HAVE YOU EVER LEGITLY BEATEN RAYMAN BEFORE WITHOUT CHEATING ALL THE WAY TO THE END?!?!?!?!?

Fanboy meaning the Street Cleaning Simulator fanboys who hype the game as GOTY, obviously.

peterw007

Not sure if sers?

Is any discussion regarding Street Cleaning Simulator serious?

If it's still #! then yes this is serious. Real;ize there hasn't been anymore 10/10 hyping reviews for the game in awhile and it's still #1?

50$ ??? they honestly go for that amount in the US?

if so , thats overpriced, you can get a Saturn here, with games , controllers , etc for £30 if you look around for a decent deal.

now £30 is about 50$ but things are more expensive here anyways.

Darkman2007

Man i saw a Saturn at the store for $15 with all 8 of it's entire library that came with it. While cheap I do findit funny I see Dreamcasts going for $10 and Sonic Advenutre is already inside almost everyone.

I still can't believe the Saturn costs 50$ in the US, the Saturn isn't a super common system , but its not rare either. if we go by the current exchange rate, 50$ is just over £32 ..... I paid £35 for my FZ10 3DO , with games and controller, and the 3DO is alot less common than the Saturn.

Where sis you get $50 from $15? I don't know where Emerald went but it's always been $15 to $20. as for 3DO it depends, on the East side of the united states some stores like CVS and Radioshcal sell 3DO's at like 20-$30 with about 3-7 games. Or the entire 8 good game library of the Saturn for $14

In the corner is My Atari TV which with some errors, can play Xbox 360 games. However, this is the ****c gaming room. The 7th generation room is down the hall.

That's a GREAT deal. If it works and has the hook-ups, I'd snatch it up. On average they go for around $50.

Nintendo fans and Playstation fans have been at each other throats lately, so I am wondering, is there anyone here who honestly likes both?

samanthademeste

Not really NES Era I was Atari and Nec. SNES era I was Atari Sega and Nec. N64 Era I was Atari, Sega, Nec, and Sony. GC era I was Sony, Microsoft, Atari and Sega This Era I was Microsoft, Sony. But even I don't hate on Nintendo like your implying.
