Yes on SW and the like everyone is hyping and talking about games like MW3, BF3, buying games like Gears of War3 and Dark Souls like crazy. Talking about Rage graphics and all these threads either praising or trolling said games and not just these games either.
Yet when I go look at the main page at Gamespot I always wondered how Street Cleaning Simulator was on the most popular list, but with the announcements and releases of hyped games I noticed recently that Stret Cleaning simulator is the NUMBER ONE most popular game on gamespot in light of these threads and the hype.
Basically at this point it is no longer a joke, Street Cleaning Simulator is the best game this year. It's GOTY and it still standsat #1 even now. The game must really be revolutionary.
So my post is "full of fail" because I'm not being a graphics whore?

Well, as long as we have that out of the way, let me say that you need to look past graphics. Besides, the most important part of graphics is art styIe, and games like SMG2 show this. The game is better looking (as in more appealing to look at) than many HD games. It's one of the best looking games this gen.

SMG 1 and 2 compared to the best looking non-HD Xbox games is like comparing Crysis 2 on consoles to Crysis 1 on low. Obviously you haven't played many XBOX games.

I 100% disagree. Graphics matter just as much as everything else. It's just as much a part of the experience as the gameplay. Humans after all are extremely visual animals. False. A game like A Link to the Past holds up better than most modern games, simply BECAUSE of its level design. Same with Ocarina of Time. Same with Wind Waker. I am sorry that your opinion means that you will end up missing out on what promises to be a great, great game, but please stop passing it off as fact. Also, if I may ask, since you seem to have an issue with Nintendo's cartoony art styIe in particular, why did you not play the hyper realistic looking Twilight Princess? OoT? So you say Zelda holds up because of repetitive and balnd level desing? This is SW and I think I am allowed to say your opinion is wrong.

That all depends on what one prefers graphically. And all the beloved "graphics kings" of this gen are going to be "outdated POS" soon enough. The cool thing is that Skyward Sword, unlike those games, will still look good in 5, 10 and 25 years. No it won't it looks like a blurry pixelated POS. However, the game might be good.
